Should I have Facebook Likes on my webpage point to a Facebook page or just the domain?

We have a Like button on our site which currently Like's our domain. I'm wondering if it would be better if it Liked a Facebook page for our company.

The benefit of liking the domain as I can see it is that when it appears on timelines a click will take you directly to our site.

Pointing the likes to a FB page that points to your site would be optimal IMO.

2 Facebook Company Pages - Best way to merge

Hi I am about to set up a Facebook company page under our current brand name Key - however in March we'll be re-branding to Manutan UK. I didn't want to wait until March to start using Facebook (we're so behind!) but when we re-brand what are the best steps to take. Here are my options - I'd love some help! 1. Set up a Key company to actively use now & a separate Manutan page just to secure the page - only using Key until March then merge the business pages (I did read however Facebook won't allow it if the names are different?) 2. Set up a Key page now & in March request a name change of the page & vanity URL We obviously don't want to lose any likes/followers we've gained between now & March Does anyone have any advice or experience with this? Facebook Instant Articles - will it hurt SEO?

I am intrigued by Facebook IA and am thinking that putting some of my company articles on it would be beneficial for marketing. Question is, will it hurt SEO if I take an article that is on my website and also submit it to Facebook IA? Will it register as duplicate content in Google? Could it have other benefits/risks?

Why does someone's FB page rank so highly?

Hi Everyone, i recently ran a non-personalized search and saw that this facebook page https://www.facebook.com/tampapersonalinjurylawyers ranked very highly for both "personal injury attorney" and "tampa personal injury attorney." The page has very few likes, and they don't even post that often. From my limited knowledge, that leaves me guessing it's because its a quasi-exact match facebook page, but that can't be right...can it? (Ranking screenshot is attached) Thanks, Ruben GO4N11x

Facebook Ad Targeting

I am having trouble targeting to people who like specific pages. Some pages with only 13K likes will show in the 'interests' section, but others with 50K will not show. Using auto complete to find what is available: is this the only way to find the pages to advertise to? Another example, I can target the people who liked Moz, because SEOMoz.com autocompletes. But SEObook does not, so I can't advertise to the people who liked this page. How can I target people who like pages specifically, no matter how many likes they have? Thank you, Tyler

Facebook and Google+ Not Properly Picked Up

Hello, I have been having issues for some time now getting my Google+ and Facebook activity to show in the social media section of site explorer. Was anyone else having this same issue? I have verified my website to both pages and the Facebook page receives a considerable amount of traffic so it is very confusing to me. Any help is much appreciated. Thank You Steve

IFrame facebook fanbox and tweet blocks

I am looking for a Facebook fanbox display, and a recent tweets display which looks nice and uses an iframe. The reason I desire an iframe is to eliminate these otherwise followed links which I do not necessarily endorse. When you use a facebook fanbox, if 12 users are displayed then you have an extra 12 links added to your page. When you use a recent tweet display then each tweet, depending on your configuration, can offer many links. The tweeter's avatar is a link along with the sender's name and any links added to the message.
