Has anyone seen this before? One domain dominates the entire first page!

Do a google search for "sober college" and tell me you don't see the entire page filled with one domain. (except the last result)

Wish we could claim it as a client, then we would definitely report it and ask for a raise! LOL
It's most definitely a regional thing, as we changed the Search Tools location to other areas and it varied the results slightly, but I wonder if this really is a glitch or if that site is doing something we should be, or if it's just a temporary result.
It was just shocking to see almost an entire page of one domain. Almost like their "site links" were converted into actual results.

I've had it happen with one of my clients. Whilst they were excited, I told them A) It wasn't a good thing, and B) It wasn't going to last.
It probably took about 2 weeks before the google algorithm made some changes and it ended up with just one or two entries on the 1st page.

I am not seeing the same as you but I have seen it before when doing a product search and just got pages of Amazon results.
I think it is a glitch in the Google algorythem because they would not want to show results from just one site even if they were the most popular.

i am seeing different. probably region differences
and yes it is possible. if you search for the exact company/site name.

How to take down a sub domain which is receiving many spammy back-links?
Hi all, We have a sub domain which has less engagement for last few years. Eventually many spammy back links pointed to this sub domain. There are relevant back links too. We have deleted most of the pages which are employing spammy content or which have spammy back links. Still I'm confused whether to take this sub domain down or keep it. Have AMP pages on Chrome disappeared?
Hi, We amplified our site the other day and Google was quick to find our AMP pages. Today, we can´t seem to find any AMP pages on Chrome and it looks like we can´t find any other pages from sites like Wapo and so forth. They´re still visible on Safari. We are searching from Iceland. Is anyone experiencing this and if so, could you please share a link to the news? Thanks and have a nice day!

Does anyone know what causes the long meta description snippet?
You know the ones I mean... Google have been infrequently displaying some meta descriptions as 3-4 lines long for some time now. But recently, I've been noticing them more. Not sure whether it's just a coincidence that I've been seeing more for my searches, or whether Google are displaying more in this format. Does anybody know what causes Google to prefer the longer meta description or extended meta description for some results?

Anyone else noticing "Related Topics" featured snippet? Is this new?
First time I've seen this type of featured snippet and now have seen it twice in the space of a couple hours. Queries on Google UK desktop: surgical instruments Hawking radiation Is this new? I have a website ,now google index ip address of it instead of the domain name,I have used 301 redirected to the domain name,but how to change the index IP to its domain name? And why google index the IP address?

Using Brand Name in Page titles
Is it a good practice to append our brand name at the end of every page title? We have a very strong brand name but it is also long. Right now what we are doing is saying: Product Name | Long brand name here Product Category | Long brand name here Is this the right way to do it or should we just be going with ONLY the product and category names in our page titles? Right now we often exceed the 70 character recommendation limit.
