Claim Universal Placement Media in Rankings Report
-
There are several videos of ours on 3rd party sites (YouTube, Vimeo) that are in universal placements but show as not ours. Since they are not on our domain is there a way we can claim them in the rankings report to make the report more accurate?
-
Would a link to our site on the YouTube/Vimeo page allow it to get picked up by the rankings tracker?

Hi there!
Thank you for reaching out! I do see what you mean. Unfortunately our tool can't recognize videos as a universal results if they don't have any way to link back to you guys. I don't know the exact way you would claim a video on youtube as this would cross into a legal space that I am not familiar or involved with
It would probably involve some type of claims process with youtube, or you could just simply ask the owner/author to possibly share the video with you or link back to your company in some way in the platform.
Hope that was helpful, I wish you good luck in reclaiming that delicious content of yours!
Best,
Peter

All ranked pages on Googles SERP only links to home
I got a problem regarding my website called musik.dk, and hope you guys are able to help. I just got my first ranking results from Moz. My question is: All my keywords are linking to the home page, and not the artist page? For examples if I were to search on Rihanna on Google, then when musik.dk appears on the SERP, it only links to the home, and not musik.dk/rihanna.. This problem applies to all the given artists ranked on Googles SERP, it never shows the artist page itself, only links to home. Let me know if you need any information, and I gladly supply, this is kind of frustrating to me.. As a note: all pages besides the home has a PA of 1, and it doesn't really seem to change. Crawl Report Re-direct Notice?
Just trying to understand if this is bad or not. The crawl report has picked up that my website is redirecting (301) from http://mysite.com to http://www.mysite.com - under Crawl Notices (blue section). Is this the wrong way to do it as we wanted the www domain version? Is that why SEOMoz has flagged it ?

How to change the compare date range on the keyword rankings report?
I'm new to SEO Moz, but not to SEO. I like SEOMoz's keyword rankings, but I also like to show clients improvement (hopefully) from the previous months' ranks. The default appears to be 1-week. How can you show improvement/decline from the previous month?

Cities in Keywords Ranking Reports
So I've been in the habit of creating a master list of keywords concatenated with the city name so I can track my local rankings versus competitors. 1. Is this the correct thing to do to help hone in on who competitive my sites are ranking in the local market? 2. If so, by doing this the On Page reports seem to be totally screwed, because the searches I'm tracking (with city) vs the keywords I want to analyse for on-page ranking (without city), are different. What is the solution?

Are the Ranking Changes on SEOmoz ranking reports weekly or life of the keyword?
I am referring to the area where it says ranking changes and where it has a green and a red arrow for improved and declined.
