Why such a high page rank with so low metrics in OSE
-
Hi,
The website is:
www.s123parka123ble.com (remove the 123)All websites I have ever seen with similar metrics in OSE have normally a PR of 2 or 3 or max 4. This one is PR 5 and I would like to know why.
I also noticed that they do not redirect the urls without www. to www. Which is normally bad ... can it be good for some reason in this case?
It is PR 5 since a long time
I just can´t get why it is PR 5. Please have a look.
Thanks!

I agree those links aren't enough to be ranking that high, that's why I think they do get a lot of traffic.
And yeah they seem to have those footers on a few of their clients.
Indeed, it appears it is working for them. I think it's good and positive to have a link back to you from your clients website, but what these guys are doing seems a bit sneaky and greedy to me and affects their clients design in a negative way.

You are right Eblan, they do have a lot of links from customers. Footer links.
However they don´t seem to be enough for such a page rank.
Check the footer of this customer:
www.prometheu123sbooks.com (take away 123)Isn´t it against horrible what they do in the footer?
The fact is that the technique works incredibly good for them.

I mainly go with the information in [this post](http://www.seomoz.org/blog/internal-linking-strategies-for-2012-and-beyond#sts=Footer Links Are Not (Inherently) Bad). Footers are great for navigation but being hit for rich keyword exploitation. It seems most web designers follow that tactic though.
-
Well it has tons of links coming from 50 domains including their own. And it seems they did some SEO on most of them. So probably that plus a lot of traffic = PR5.
What I want to know is: Most of their backlinks come from their clients and they aren't topic related/relevant, so how much link juice are they really getting from them? Also they have like 4 links to them with different anchor text in the footer of their clients websites like this one pointing to them. Is that good? I don't think so but I would like some feedback from a more experienced SEO consultant.

Does Google need Analytics installed to create metrics?
Hi Mozers, Does Google know time on site, number of page visits, bounce rate, etc. even if Google Analytics is NOT installed? Does it measure all that stuff anyway, and if you install the GA code on your site, that is so that YOU can see those metrics? OR can Google only see those metrics if you install GA on your site? Thanks! Jane

641 Crawl Errors In My Moz Report - 190 are high priority Duplicate Content
Hi everyone, There are high and medium level errors. I was surprised to see any especially since Google Analytics shows no errors whatsoever.190 errors - duplicate content.A lot of images are showing in the Moz Crawl Report as errors, and when I click on one of these links in the report, it directs to the image which displays on a blog post on the site unusually since I haven't started blogging yet.. So it looks like all those errors are because the images are appearing on their own post.So for example a picture of a mountain would be referred to with www.domain.com/mountains ; the image would be included in the content on a page but why give an image a page/post all of it's own when that was not my intention. Is there a way I can change this?# ----------------------------------------

These are things I first see at the top of the Moz Report: There are 2 similar home urls at the top of the report: http status code is 200 for both (1) and (2) Link Count for (1) is 71. Link count for (2) is 60. No client or server errors Rel Canonical Rel-Canonical Target
Yes http:// domain. co.uk/home

How can I easily combine moz page difficulty, google search volume and SERPS position?
I want to produce an excel spreadsheet that I can use to identify the best use of my content Writing time. So Looking at a keyword list I want Current SERPS to show me where I am now? moz page difficulty score to show how hard I'll have to work google traffic estimate so that I can see the potential payoff. I can can generate all these separately but combining them is a huge time waster as invariably the results don't come back in quiet the same order and a line by line check is required. Part of the reason for doing this is keyword exploration so that we can find new niches by generating hundreds or thousands of keywords to test.

In other words, how can see the text and what not it sees from start to finish on each page. I know there was a site, but I can't remember it.

Relation between Page and Landing Page
Hi all, I am looking through the Analytics data on a specific 'page' (404.html which is the Not found page) and as my secondary dimensions, I have Landing Page data. Now am I not sure how the page and the landing page are related here. Is it basically saying 58 Page views of the 404.html were originated by the users who landed on brochures.html? If someone could provide any pointers on it, it would be great. Thank you for your time. uZQJ

Not ranking in Google.com
I put up my last site on the web since a month. So far I have been optimizing mainly to Hungary and I got used to that my content was indexed in a day and if content was good it sometimes appeared in the first two pages in a couple of days. Now with my new site I am targeting google.com. I put it up since a week, sent the sitemap to google, it was intresting for mee te see that even the pages to get into the web index needed two days. Seomoz says my site is all right besides some duplicate content issue i will solve soon. So it is past a week and even if I copy a complete sentence from the beginning of my home page and paste it into google my site does not appear. I also purchased couple of backlins but they have not appeared so far as well. Is that really this slow? Am I to impatient? Or should there be something else problem I should be looking for? Thanks for any feedback
