6 Months Data = Domain MozRank and MozTrust still 0.00
-
I have a domain with six months of data in my PRO account. The MozRank and MozTrust is still 0.00. Is this normal? If not, what on Earth am I doing wrong?!?

Hello Mike,
Are you familiar with the MozRank and MozTrust metrics? If not, I recommend checking out the following pages:
http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/mozrank
http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/moztrust
In brief, they are link metrics. If your site has not earned links during the past 6 months, those metrics should not change.
MozRank, MozTrust, PA and DA are all based on the SEOmoz web crawler. It takes 30-60 days to capture data and process it. If you have waited 6 months and still do not see data there are one of several issues:
-
your site has not earned any links
-
your site has earned links but not from any quality websites
-
your sites has earned links but the pages which contain the links are buried deeply, or the linking site has code which is difficult to crawl
-
any sites which link to you are blocked via robots.txt or the pages have the noindex tag applied
If your site has earned authentic links and you are willing to share your site address then we can take a further look. Please include the URL of some pages which link to your website and an approximate date of when the link was earned.
If you feel confident you have earned authentic links over 60 days ago, then you can take Host1's advice and contact the SEOmoz help team (help@seomoz.org).

Is it possible to see Ranking data for longer than one week at a time?
The weekly ranking data is great for short-term analysis, but it would be great to be able to see ranking data in aggregate across an entire month, or 3-month time span. Being able to track ranking fluctuations over that amount of time makes it easier to spot trends and mark changes to website plans and how they worked over time. It also makes it easier to spot visitor trends based on rankings with Google Analytics numbers for keywords that don't get a lot of traffic on a weekly basis. Anyways, I can't seem to find any way to see ranking numbers over a larger timespan other than exporting each weekly ranking report and doing it manually. Is there a better way that I just haven't seen? Does anyone have a better solution that I'm just too stupid to think of? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

MozTrust suddenly dropped to zero. Link data now unavailable???
I'm running an SEOMoz campaign for a small site to monitor some tweaks I've made and testing new things out. Over a year or so the changes were great - organic traffic was rising, domain metrics were too. Then in October 2012 domain trust, Moztrust and all other link metrics went to zero. There's no data in OSE for this particular small site and as far as I can tell, no impact on search. The limited number of inbound links all appear to be intact and there's no reason why the site would be hit by Panda/Penguin style updates. Why has this sudden loss of data occurred? Is the site no longer in SEOMoz's databases? Without any link data it's difficult to tell why this has happened. If it is no longer in the Moz database, how do I get it back - that data was useful!

OSE vs google webmaster link data
Hiya experts, I am trying to understand the OSE. One thing I noticed is that OSE shows 12 linking root domains to our site. However, google webmasters show more than 90(that have kinks to pages on our site). And these are not new links, some of these date back to Apr 2011. Is there something very obvious I am missing here? Thanks for your help. Regards, Raman.

SEO Yoast data export
Just thought I would give something back. (Is this the right place!) I use Wordpress with the excellent SEO Yoast plugin. I needed a way of extracting the focus keywords that I have entered onto my pages along with the url for use on the SEOmoz On-page Optimisation tool. So I created GetYoastData which outputs to the browser the required data (and a bit more) that can be saved into an csv (Excel) file. Hope you find it useful - Yes it's not polished and yes it might output a blank line now and again but it's fairly useful. http://deanandrews.uk/get-yoast-seo-data/

Domain redirection www or without
when i start campain for the first time it says " "Roger has detected a problem: We have detected that the domain www.xxxxxxtour.com and the domain xxxxxxtour.****.com both respond to web requests and do not redirect. Having two "twin" domains that both resolve forces them to battle for SERP positions, making your SEO efforts less effective. We suggest redirecting one, then entering the other here." How to resolve this and how can i redirect xxxxxxtour..com to www.xxxxxxtour.com ? Thank you
