Why aren't my blog links counting?

In our blog posts, we frequently include links to our product pages on our official site. However, the blog root domain is not showing up on Open Site Explorer for any of these product pages. In other words, why isn't Google counting our blog as a unique root domain?

My links are indeed showing on Webmaster. I will be using Webmaster Tools from now on to research URLs and their external links.

The Mozscape index is not Google's index.
Moz are an independent company that crawl the web and record links that they find as they go, this does not mean that Google has not found these links to your product pages.
Have you checked Google Webmaster tools to see if the links are showing?

I've watched a few backlinks disappear from our inbound link search.
After inquiring to Moz.org about this, they suggested this might be due to a new feature that was rolled out, however, this 2 year old backlink still hasn't shown up and I'm a little concerned. Has anyone else experienced this?

They have a high domain authority and trust so we want that link back to be read by Google. Question about links on blogs
I have a number of blogs, but I'll use this one as an example: http://www.totalpackers.com/. If you look in the left column, we have "friends" links and "more Packers" links. In every case, these were links that we traded or links to our own sites. We get traffic from a number of these sites because of the link exchange, but I'm worried having these is hurting our SEO (as well these sites posting our links). It's crossed my mind that I should remove all these links from our site and ask that our links be removed from their sites. Would that be overreacting? Or is this something I should do? Link Building - Affiliate Link Programs
I'm getting some conflicting information when researching this... I want to create the most organic link building strategy that not only gets high authority sites linking to a website, but relevant websites. I'm creating an affiliate link program where I link to partner and affiliate companies, who in turn link back to me. The question is where to put these links. I was initially thinking of putting them in the footer so they add credibility to every page, and in turn ask my affiliates to do the same thing. However; some sources say that Google no longer looks at links in the footer section. Is it true that Google doesn't count links in footer sections? And do you have any tips on creating this Affiliate Link Program?

What is a good ratio of total links to linking root domains?
Is 100 total links for every linking domain too high? I suppose I could also look at ratios of sites that are doing well in the rankings.

Backlinks I don't want
Hi all. According to google webmaster tools www.buywatchesin.net made 29,245 links to ONE category to my website. I went to this site and they copied my article with my links without my permission. Its the same one on all sites in that domain. Thats a lot of links and I thinks that bad for my site. I can't find any contact details to that site. What do you think, any advise?? Please help!
