Can i help google find my new backlinks quicker?

i have been building links for the past month or so and google has still not added my links.
my website has been up and working for 7 years now with 1000's of entries a year and it is mostly indexed.
but i cant seem to get my new backlinks to be added.
any expert advice?

It all depends on the quality of the links that you are gaining as to how quickly Google recognises them.
In regards to speeding up Google finding links to your site that you have managed to gain I would say this is not possible as it is down to how frequently Google crawls the websites that links to you and Google actually crawling the page that links to you. This could take a while if for instance a site has thousands of pages and a low crawl rate from Google.

Hello there, Some of my competitors have backlinks from very well-known newspaper websites like New York Post or The Sun. And it is really obvious that their backlinks are paid ones. On these news websites, they don't talk about ghost writing stuff or "partnership" for backlinks. They only write about banner advertising. So I was wondering how they can get a backlink from them.

Can anyone explain this Google+ subdomain?
https://google36059.reachlocal.net/collections/featured This seems really odd to me. It appears to be a fully working Google+ page and I can access the links that are other Google+ pages, but it is a subdomain of Reach Local. Any ideas?

Backlink Building - is it worth it?
I've got a UK-based site with about 10,000 backlinks, according to majestic, and just 4 according to Open Site Explorer? Confusing! Rivals tend to have more - 28,000 in the case of our nearest competitors. So I'm not sure the best way to go about building backlinks? Or if it's worth actively seeking to build them? The index page of the site has a Moz PA of 45 (DA = 35) and I'm looking for any ways to increase these - need to get the DA up to 73 to compete with largest rivals. One of our main rivals has about 60 .edu links - would be great to emulate that, but I'm also not sure how you go about this? i.e. when you spot a good backlink someone else has, how would you begin the process of also getting that link?

Dropped domains are really helpful for backlinks?

Are my affiliates helping or harming me?
I have a very strong affiliate network. Currently all my affiliate links go to a subdomain with a 301 redirect to my site. I have somewhat of a linking profile besides affiliates, but it is not as strong as the affiliate site. Are my affiliates enhancing my linking profile and helping me? Or Does it look to Google like I am benefiting from "paid links" and they would prefer I add NOFOLLOW or a 302 to my affiliate links? Thanks for your help!

Gaining a backlink from Webopedia?
We have a client that wants to gain a back link from Webopedia. We have found a very relevent definition entry and there is an additional resources section that contains links to their competitors. Webopedia is owned/operated by Quinn St. and I have reached out to them to see if this is a posibility, but haven't heard back. Any experience in trying to acquire a link from this property? Thanks!
