How could I create this? Would it be a chrome extension?

I do a lot of checking for duplicate content on sites. I use chrome and generally I highlight a phrase, do right click and then "Search Google for...". However, I would like to have a quick shortcut where I can search Google for a phrase that is enclosed in quotes.
Is there a chrome extension for this? If not, can I build one?

Thanks. I've got a few of those. But I'm just looking for a way to shorten the process of taking a chunk of text and searching Google for it in quotes.

I just found this Chrome Extension, which does have a copyscape aspect in it. So you can click a button and it can check the entire page, not just a small snippet of text or phrase.

That would be handy wouldn't it? Even more so if you could highlight a few snippets and it searched for each phrase occurring on a single page.
A browser extension would be the way to go, but I have no idea if there is one out there already. Doesn't sound difficult though.

The images on site are not found/indexed, it's been recommended we change their presentation to Google Bot - could this create a cloaking issue?
Hi We have an issue with images on our site not being found or indexed by Google. We have an image sitemap but the images are served on the Sitecore powered site within <divs>which Google can't read. YOAST Premium extensions vs Yoast SEO Free?
Considering buying the Yoast Premium extensions (or perhaps whole bundle) but trying to weigh up if its worth it or if the free version is comprehensive enough to do the job? Obviously paid has more features but is it worth the price tag? (I have 4 different websites) If anyone has a paid version of Yoast Premium pack and seen improvements with rankings, mark ups in google etc I would appreciate hearing your story! Using Hreflang Tags For Australian Domain Extension
Hi Guys, We have a company with a Australian domain www.domain.com.au which has just launched in the US market. The company is in the process of purchasing the .com version of the domain and then the plan is to have one single global .com site (like apple.com) on a new domain which would be domain.com and put both the (US version) and (Australian Version) on the new domain: domain.com (global). e.g. domain.com/us and domain.com/au However the .com version won't be available till March 2016. The company still wants to launch in the US market asap with it's current .com.au domain. which it has. So basically the current set-up is like this: http://www.domain.com.au/us/ (US homepage) http://www.domain.com.au/ (Australian homepage) I was wondering, does anyone know if hreflang tag can be used on a .com.au extension to target specific pages to the US. e.g. I was wondering will the hreflang tag override the fact that Google would automatically geo-target the .com.au extension to Australia? e.g. would the http://www.domain.com.au/us/ (US version) with the hreflang tag above be considered as the US version, even-though we it's on a .com.au domain extension? Two websites in different niches. Should I create separate G+ authorship profiles?
I have two different websites. One of them is one of the most authoritative e-commerce websites in its niche. I own forums, installation resource websites and various other sites that provide excellent user information and customer interactions. There is another e-commerce website that I own which is very young and not as authoritative. I am about to start building it out like I did for my other site. My question is about whether I should link my G+ profile and become a "contributor/author" to the new e-commerce site(s) or if I should have someone else in the company be the "face" of this website. Since they're in two completely different niche's, I didn't know if it will give mixed signals to Google if my G+ profile is all about niche A, and then I start throwing in rel=author and being a contributor to other sites that have nothing to do with the original niche. Should I create another G+ profile to contribute to all of the guest posting & 2nd tier site creation for the new niche site or just use the one I have now for the time being?

301s Creating Soft 404s in GWT
Hi, We re-did a section of a site and got rid of hundreds of pages of no longer relevant content. We 301'd the urls to the category homepage. Now, GWT calls these soft 404s. a) Should we have done something differently instead of 301ing? b) Are these hundreds of soft 404 errors a big problem or threat to how Google sees us for SEO? c) Should we correct this in some way? Is there an easy way to create this type of post, wordpress?
I run a site that is in Google news and built on wordpress. I have seen this type of post on a few sites http://searchengineland.com/searchcap-the-day-in-search-december-21-2012-143315 Its basically a summary of posts for that day or week etc I am wondering, does anyone know of an easy way to create these types of pages? At the moment we simply copy and paste and create all links manually. Im wondering, is there a plugin that allows you to create a post like this but quicker? Any ideas at all would be great Thanks in advance
