Spam link? Links from linguee.*
-
Hello, in a site, in which I'm working .. in webmaster tools i see a lot of links as following:
With more links to your site:
linguee.es 3.066
linguee.com 2.964
linguee.pe 2.722
linguee.mx 2.721Total inlinks to my site are 20.000, and links incoming from linguee.* are more than 50% !!!
My site is about spanish courses in spain, but i think all these links are fuck*ng me.
I checked if these links have nofollow tag, and not, they don't have this attritute.
What can i do? My site is going down in Google.
¿disavow that domain? Please help.
-
I've got the same problem with these domains (linguee.com, linguee.es, linguee.pe...).
I've got more than 20.000 backlinks coming from these domains, and I suspect they're damaging my rankings, which have suffered a big drop during the last months.
Did you finally disavow these domains?
-
In site explorer i don't see that links (in first pages) , maybe they have low autority.
-
If they add a nofollow the links won't count towards your link profile in webmaster tools. Now that you mention that these are over 50% of your links it begs the question where are you pulling your full link profile from? If you are only looking at the links in GWT you should dig into Open Site Explorer, Majestic, ahrefs, etc. I would make sure to get a holistic view of your link profile before making any big changes.
-
Hello, No, i didn't get any email from Google. And in Webmaster Tool there is not message.
But i think i am penalized because for my main keywords i don't see my page in google.
-
Yes, I think they are hurting me, because in only a period of time, they have been converted in my MAIN links (+50% of my links), and this should not be.
If the webmaster add nofollow to them, this links doesn't count in webmaster tools?
-
I would contact the webmaster and ask for the links to be removed or at least nofollowed. If that doesn't work I would disavow the entire domain if you believe these links are hurting you and there aren't any other spammy links in your profile.

I paste some of these links :
http://www.linguee.es/espanol-ingles/traduccion/c%E1mara+de+comercio+de+madrid.html
http://www.linguee.es/espanol-ingles/traduccion/certificado+aptitud+pedaggica.html
http://www.linguee.es/espanol-ingles/traduccion/certificado+de+aptitud.html
http://www.linguee.es/espanol-ingles/traduccion/clases+de+conversacin+guiada.html
(200 links like that, p.e., are pointing to one of my pages)
The links appear bellow translation.
Yes, my site today is not visible in Google, strange, and for my main keywords, my site is not visible.
1 month ago more or less all was ok.

Disavow as a last resort, start by contacting the webmaster of that site and ask them to be removed. Have you reviewed what kind of links these are? comment spam, forum signatures, some other BS?
-
Did you get a message from Google warning about unnatural incoming links? Are you sure you were penalized or think you might have been?
Contact the webmaster, it's owned by one entity and have them remove the links. Don't disavow unless you have been penalized.

Best to Leave Toxic Links or Remove/Disovow on Site with Low Number of Linking Domains
Our site has only 87 referring domains (with at least 7,100 incoming links). LinkDetox has identified 29% of our back links as being toxic and 14% as being questionable. Virtually all of these links derive from spammy sites. We never received a manual penalty, but ever since the first Penguin penalty in 2012 our search volume and ranking has dropped with some uneven recover in the last 3 years. By removing/disavowing toxic links are we risking that over optimized link text will be removed and that ranking will suffer as a result? Are we potentially shooting ourselves in the foot? Would we be better to spend a few months building quality links from reputable domains before removing disavowing bad links? Or toxic links (as defined by LinkDetox) so bad that it should be a priority to remove them immediately before taking any other step? Thanks, Alan

Cannonical Links?
Hi guys, I recently started using Moz Analytics's for my site and it has told me that the vast majority (perhaps all) of my pages have duplicate content because Google will be indexing the version both with and without www. in front of it as seperate domains. I've done some research and have come across a few suggestions of what to do, but i'm not sure which to go with or how to actually implement it. Any help, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Why does a selection of sites I have written guest posts on not come up on my link analysis?
I have done a few guests posts on different sites and they are not coming up in my link analysis report.

We created an info graphic on one particular site and this site isn't coming up on the link analysis report. Would there be a reason for this. I ran a check on the sites code and it doesnt contain "nofollow" as i originally thought this was the problem. Here is an example of our work on a site that isn't coming up on the analysis report. http://www.electriciansblog.co.uk/2013/10/energy-saving-using-led-lighting/ Thanks0 -
Lost rankings after disavowing links
About two months ago, I received an unnatural inbound links message from Google. Then I disavowed 58 (the worst ones) and now I can see that right after the date I submitted my disavow file I'm losing rankings. What would you suggest? I don't really want to revoke my disavow file because it has totally bad links. I have this idea to build 58 links from high quality sites (instead of the 58 I disavowed). Do you think it'll work faster (if at all) or I just need to remove my disavow file?

Open internal links in a new tab increase bonus rate?
Hello! This week I used a simple method to reduce my blog Google Analytics bounce rate. My blog all the posts are guides, in order to follow them, user need to download a zip file (same zip file). Otherwise they can't. Therefore I added a separate blog post to download all the necessary files. As a result of that I can reduce my bounce rate from 62-70% to 45-50% level. Now I'm thinking to open that zip file download page in a new tab. If I open my blog zip file download page, in a new tab. It will again increase my bounce rate? I reduced my bounce rate using that zip file download page. Thanks!

Email campaigns. Should I link to my blog or to my site?
I have a client for who we write and post a daily blog article. The articles are optimized and linked to particular targeted content on his top level site. Now we are going to start e-marketing to his 3000+ website users to announce inventory changes and specials. My question is (from a SE standpoint) are we better off linking the e-mail content to the blog and introducing people to the blog (but adding an additional step for getting to the new inventory. Or are we better off putting a link in the HTML E-mail letter that we send out to both the blog and separately to the inventory section? Just to clarify, we wonder if the search engines would provide some additional authority for the extra blog traffic and thereby build the overall score of the blog & site. We are looking at the e-mail campaigns as a potential opportunity to impact SE scores not just awareness of new inventory. Thanks everyone!

High percentage of nofollow links
Hi, I've just created my first campaign and noticed that on the competitive analysis our website is having a lot of nofollow links: more than 50% I did some research on the web to learn more about nofollow links, but I don't understand why this percentage is so big especially compared to the other websites in the analysis (less than 10%)? Anyone any ideas? Thanks!
