My moz only one page was crawled
-
I recently moved my shopping cart from one provider to another and today moz only crawled one page, could this be because maybe google has not indexed it yet or should i be concerned? I pointed the DNS at the new cart monday night if that helps. I would have expected it to be indexed by now
-
I think I found the problem finaly it wasnt indexed because the site was no longer verified by webmaster tools after i changed carts, so I verified it and submitted a sitemap lets see what that does

Kari is good person to listen to and very correct. Your site will be crawled within a matter of time decided mostly by Google and the amount of links you have on your webpage. Remember to install the Moz bar and check for the total amount of links that you have on you page if you have more than 100 or 150 have now been told is the new high you might have your website passed over by Google bot when the website is to be crawled by Google.
Now please remember I'm not saying that this is what happened and just giving you some more advice on indexing you can always run your card through googles Webmaster tools and put the link that you want indexed through following the instructions on this link
http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1352276
To ask Google to crawl a URL on a site you don't own, visit
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url/.
However, if you own the site, we recommend that you follow the process below.
If you've just added a URL to your site, or a page has significantly changed since the last time it was crawled, you can ask Google to crawl it. (Google doesn't guarantee that we'll index every URL we crawl, however.)
Ask Google to crawl a page or site:
- On the Webmaster Tools Home page, click the site you want.
- On the Dashboard, under Health, click Fetch as Google.
- In the text box, type the path to the page you want to check.
- In the dropdown list, select Web. (You can select another type of page, but currently we only accept submissions for our Web Search index.)
- Click Fetch. Google will fetch the URL you requested. It may take up to 10 or 15 minutes for Fetch status to be updated.
- Once you see a Fetch status of "Successful", click Submit to Index, and then click one of the following:
- To submit the individual URL to Google's index, select URL and click Submit. You can submit up to 500 URLs a week in this way.
- To submit the URL and all pages linked from it, click URL and all linked pages. You can submit up to 10 of these requests a month.
I hope this is been of help to you and don't worry it is completely normal for your site not be indexed yet.
don't forget the speed of your site, site structure along with the amount of links matters quite a bit to how Google bot
indexes your website. Try to run it through the submit URL and my bet is you will see The URL indexed in a shorter amount of time.
Sincerely,
Thomas

Hi! There are several reasons why only one page may get crawled. The most common reasons are at https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/409821-Why-Isn-t-My-Site-Being-Crawled-You-re-Not-Crawling-All-My-Pages-. If that doesn't solve your problem, please contact the help desk at http://moz.com/help. Thanks, and so sorry for the troubles!

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it takes 2-4 weeks for Google to properly index your page. However, Google has stated that it takes "several weeks" but most people don't wait that long.

"On-Page Report Card"- why is still showing " F grade" after introducing the keyword in page and title.
Hello, "On-Page Report Card"- why is still showing " F grade" after introducing the keyword in page and title. After changing the title and putting the keyword inside the title, in this section, "Exact Keyword Usage in Page Title", it shows the first title, without updating my changes. I have updated several times. In some cases worked, in this case doesn't. For example "online project management software" grades F, and "project management software" grades A, even if I've put the "online" word in title an so on. Now I have the same issue with "stock management software" which grades F. "stock management" grades A, even if i've put exactly "stock management software" thanks.

How To Ques. Getting ranked on page one for a keyword when you compete with bigger websites/companies/stores
Can David Beat Goliath. I work with small businesses with top products that are up against big brands and their online presence. If I am working with them to create content that meets the needs of all their stakeholders/customers/prospects to generate revenue I wonder if keyword targeting with content can really pay off to get them page one, #1 position ranking. So I ask you this question? How do you create a story for a small online store that can get ranked on page one for a keyword when you compete with bigger websites (or sites with higher domain authority)? I don't need all the basics, I'm just looking for a key insight or tip that you have found or heard is working for a David to beat a Goliath (and hold their position rank once they get highly ranked). We are up against sites - for viable keywords -who have higher domain authority and in some cases more content or link backs. Also, I've notice in situations when I do get to page one and I'm in position 7 MOZ analytics show low to no traffic coming from it? Yikes, what do I do to improve that? These are top keywords.

Crawl Test - Taking too long
The last crawl test I invoked seems to be in progress for over 24 hours. The one before that completed in a few hours. Wish there was a progress indicator or an option to cancel. The crawl (from Tool > Crawl Test) should not take this long. Any ideas or suggestions? Also, the keyword research tool (plus a few others) have been down ever since I signed up. Is this a normal?

20000 site errors and 10000 pages crawled.
I have recently built an e-commerce website for the company I work at. Its built on opencart. Say for example we have a chair for sale. The url will be: www.domain.com/best-offers/cool-chair Thats fine, seomoz is crawling them all fine and reporting any errors under them url great. On each product listing we have several options and zoom options (allows the user to zoom in to the image to get a more detailed look). When a different zoom type is selected it adds on to the url, so for example: www.domain.com/best-offers/cool-chair?zoom=1 and there are 3 different zoom types. So effectively its taking for urls as different when in fact they are all one url. and Seomoz has interpreted it this way, and crawled 10000 pages(it thinks exist because of this) and thrown up 20000 errors. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
