On page analysis showing old results
-
Hi,
My on page crawl analysis is showing that I have 38 duplicate content issues. These issues are because we had used tags in our blog. We remove all the tags 10+ day ago but the crawl that was done 5 days ago is still showing the tags as causing a duplicate content issue. Why would this be? We cannot correct is as it is already corrected. How do we get moz to crawl the correctly?
Thanks
Andrew

Andrew,
Log into your account, now go to >Campaigns. then >View this Campaign. Scroll down to "Keyword Rankings", then click on >See all Keyword Rankings. Hover over the keyword you would like information for, then 2 icons will appear. Click on the rightmost icon that looks like an EKG chart.
Scroll down to the "Ranking Analysis on" portion of the report. There you will find 34 parameters your keyword and URL are graded on. You will find a button just below and to the left of "Ranking Analysis on" that says "Run Full Report" you get 50 free report per month. So knock yourself out.

Thanks for your response but I cannot find either of the functionality you mention in your response. Could you please describe in more detail. Also we removed the tags 10 days ago and the last run was 5 days ago so the tags should not be in the report in the first place this is our main issue.

Andrew,
We have seen this issue as well. Turns out its not an issue at all, just an operator error.
The on page results file is a fixed page, and wont change no matter how many times you look at it. The on page results are a snap shot of the results of the time of capture, so you really dont want that page to change so you may referance it at a later date.
So what rour experiencing is a Chaced record report.
To view new results for any changes you have made you have two choices. First and my favorite option is to use the "Ranking Analysis" report page, and click on the "Run A Full Report" button. You have 50 credits, or reports each month on the PRO level. Depending on activity level you will recieve an email message that your report is finished. Second option on the same page is to generate a "Real Time Report" this option is in the drop down menu area. No where near as much information

Canonical URLs all show trailing slash on main site pages - using Yoast SEO for Wordpress - how to correct
We are using Yoast for a number of our sites. We use naked domain as the canonical. I have noticed in the header tags that all our sites show the canonical URLs as having a trailing slash: Example: http;//foxspizzajc.com, when I look at the source code, it shows the canonical as http;//foxspizzajc.com/ Of course, it is much more likely that all sites that link to us will not use the trailing slash - so preferably we do not want that to be the canonical - among other reasons. Does this need to be fixed so the trailing slash is removed? I cannot see how to do this in Yoast SEO or in Permalinks structure for Wordpress. Sorry for my ignorance. Thanks for any help.

What are the factors that have an impact on the google search results?
When I compare the ranking of my keywords with the Moz Rankings and my own search results I get different results even I use the google chrome incognito browser (not logged in, no cookies, no cache) and it's definitely the same country-setting (google.de) where the search is run. I double checked it with several browsers and computers, and I still get a different result as the Moz Ranking Tracker. The keyword is "schafkopf" and the site is www.sauspiel.de. The relevant country is Germany (www.google.de). Does anyone know the reason why the results differ? Could it be the search query was made from different countries/IPs? Any ideas, hints?

How to increase page authority
I wonder how to increase the page authority or the domain authority to begin with. It seems you are putting a lot of weight on this in your analysis.

In competitive domain analysis my website shows pages that I no longer have.
When I go to my campaign, link analysis, under competitive comparison/followed backlinks, the 5 pages under Anchor Text/Target URL, supposedly on my website, are not on my website anymore. I recently moved my domain name to another server (before signing up for seomoz) and deleted the forum associated with my website. Those 5 pages are all from that now extinct forum. What's going on?

On-Page Keyword Optimization Question
First let me say I want to improve the text of the site I am working on focusing on the site visitor in the first instance. I run the "On-Page Keyword Optimization" The page fails on "Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document... ...Occurrences of Keyword 48" well over the limit of 15. The occurrence include those in the site navigation and strapline, but it was my understanding that Google was aware of nav areas/areas common to most other pages on the site and that keywords in these areas weren't viewed as being part of the page content. The keyword is the main keyword for the company, and the page is the home page i.e. "acme widgets" the others are "acme widgets for the home"... well you get the idea: The page breaks down as follows: 5 instances in primary nav 1 instance strapline 3 instances secondary nav Remainder in page body I am told by the tool to reduce to 15 instances, so should I? Have 9 instances in the nav and other areas and 6 or so on the page Have 9 instances in the nav and other areas and 15 or so on the page
