Moz crawl only shows 2 pages, but we have more than 1000 pages.

Hi Guys

Is there anyway we can test Moz crawler ? it showing only 2 pages crawls. We are running website on HTTPS ? Is HTTPS is issues for Moz ?

So I took a look at your campaigns and it shows we crawled 394 pages.

It's possible that your first crawl may not have picked up on the redirect but it's definitely finding pages now.

Let me know if you see something different in your settings.

Why is my domain not being crawled anymore?

I just noticed that right around 12/1/2012, SEOMoz stopped crawling all but two pages out of the 400 or so on my website at www.TrustworthyCare.com . I speculate that this is probably due to some dumb mistake I made at that time, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that mistake was. Before that, the weekly crawls included all 400 or so pages. I wonder whether it's something that changed in our .htaccess file. Here's how that file looks now; can anyone see what is wrong there, or perhaps offer other suggestions if it doesn't look like anything is wrong in it? Thanks! Only few pages (308 pages of 1000 something pages) have been crawled and diagnosed in 4 days, how many days till the entire website is crawled complete?

Setup campaign about 4-5 days ago and yesterday rogerbot said 308 pages were crawled and the diagnostics were provided. This website has over 1000+ pages and would like to know how long it would take for roger to crawl the entire website and provide diagnostics. Thanks!

Does crawling help in optimisation.?

the website is as it was last week. no optimisation from my side for 10 days now. i was ranked 5 with my keyword not much competition there. however 2 days ago i registrred at seomoz and created a campaign for my website with my keywords that were ranked 5 in search. today i see that my rank has gone up to 2. i have nt done any optimisation neither have ii created any backlinks. so how and why did i climb up? i just created a campaign and let seomoz crawl my website for 2days. am i to assume seomoz crawl optimises website? if that is the case then can i create a campaign crawl pages, climb up in searches, delete the campaign after a week, create it again crawl pages and climb up and so on ? please advise?

Does the page authority data also considers the on page factors like the presence of keyword in the title,meta text, and keyword frequency ??

The moz difficulty score considers four factors for the top websites. are the on page factors included in the page authority data ?

Hyphens in Page Titles?

We are using a combination of keywords using our brand name. So the keyword is structure as: brand name - word (separated by a hyphen) When I run a report on the page for the keywords that have the above format, the report tells me that I need to use the keyword in the title of the page. Is it okay to have hyphens in Page Titles? I assume not, but I want to double check. Thanks, Alex

Twitter Page Authority Score?

I've been doing some competitive research in Open Site Explorer and many of our competitors have Twitter accounts very similar to ours. Their Twitter pages are usually one of the pages with linking to their website with the most Page Authority. The incoming links from Twitter are a "no follow" as you would guess. This has been the case for a large number of well ranking sites I have looked at. www.dremed.com also has a Twitter account at: https://twitter.com/#!/DREmed . However, Open Site Explorer does not list the Twitter link as an incoming link at all ( or if it does it has no Page Authority ). The Twitter account page seems very similar in nature to other competing Twitter pages. I'm not sure why it does not ALSO pull a high Page Authority score??? Do you know why this might be? Crawl Errors Confusing Me

The SEOMoz crawl tool is telling me that I have a slew of crawl errors on the blog of one domain. All are related to the MSNbot. And related to trackbacks (which we do want to block, right?) and attachments (makes sense to block those, too) ... any idea why these are crawl issues with MSNbot and not Google?
