Should I post my upcoming blog series on my blog or on Google+

I am in the process of writing a series of blog posts covering one subject in more detail.
Normally, I would just post my blog posts on my blog, but I have heard and read recently that posting content on Google+ is having very good results.
So should I post this series exclusively on my Google+ pages instead with a link back to my blog and site or just focus on posting on my blog as I have done before?

Ask yourself, who is your audience? Are they on G+? If so writing stuff on G+ might be a good idea, however if your audience is not there I would suggest leaving it on your blog.
In general as well, I agree with EGOL by leaving it on your own website you are leaving the opportunity for the post to be shared not just on G+, but on FB, Twitter, and now even Pinterest. Only on very special circumstances, would I suggest writing a full-length post on G+.

I would post the blog on your website but then write an eye-catching summary on G+ with a link back to each of your blog posts after you publish each one.
I would also mention them on FB and Twitter, etc. and do the same. Not only is this good for SEO, but if you have a high quality blog post, you can generate referral traffic and interest with these posts.

Post on your website, put a snippet and a link on your G+

If you want people to visit your Google+ page then post it there. If you want people visiting your website then post it on your blog.
Personally, I would be posting it on my website. Then any visitor, links, likes, tweets will contribute to my site rather than to a Google+ page that I don't control.

How important is Google Plus - Specifically for B2B Small Businesses?
Our traffic is about 300 visitors a day in a small industrial niche. We have 89 wonderful facebook followers (all friends and no customers) and basically social media is of no interest to our audience. The same is true of all our competitors - we all have twitter accounts, FB accounts etc and they are resolutely ignored by our customers. So if I get 10 +1's on a page will that make any difference? Would 50? Would 500? How much effort should I put in to this? As we are not an e-commerce revenue isn't tied directly to website traffic but there is a correlation. So is it worth spending a bit of time to develop a 'natural distribution' of +1's and then reach out to my contacts to get them to plus 1 me? That is I use lots of different google accounts, with different IPs on different pages at different times and slowly build Or do i just say that this part of the SEO approach is of no benefit and I ignore?

Google + - 2 accounts - Personal and Work Account
Hi everyone, I know this seems like a really dumb question and I am pretty sure I know the answer but I am interested in hearing the communities opinion on the following issue. I have 2 gmail accounts. One for work and a personal one Work gmail account - It is ugly. Something like this abcdefghijklmnop@gmail.com (Don't ask...long story). Obviously I have it connected to my work email that looks like this...name@xdawson.com I created my G+ personal profile with my work gmail (abcdefghijklmnop@gmail.com) and I use the free version of gmail. I have also created my company G+ profile from my work gmail account. My personal gmail account has an empty G+ profile. Don't use G+ except for work. Lately I have been publishing a lot and I am starting to get lots of followers on G+. My suspicion is that Google really does not want people with 2 accounts. Should I be using my personal Gmail account and delete my work gmail account? I need to move my company page to my personal gmail account. I really don't want people to see my ugly work gmail account. It is ugly 🙂 Thanks Carla

Has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in Facebook post impressions?
One of the clients I manage has over 5,000 Facebook fans. Whenever I'd make a post, it usually would get ~700-1,000 impressions. About two weeks ago I did my first promoted post. Ever since then, all the regular posts I've done have only gotten ~100 impressions . . . out of 5,325! I'm wondering if Facebook, once learning that you are willing to pay for promoted posts, secretly lowers your impression count so that you will pay for promoted posts more often, or if the timing of my promoted post was just a coincidence, and everyone started to see a decrease about two weeks ago. Does anyone know what's going on?

Facebook fan page does not show up in Google Search
This fan page - http://www.facebook.com/AnytimeFitnessSantaRosa does not show up in the Google search results for "Anytime Fitness Santa Rosa Facebook" (broad match search). Other Anytime Fitness pages show up in position 1 and 2 and the website for the one I want to rank the Facebook page shows up in position 5 (http://anytimefitness.com/gyms/1352/Santa Rosa-CA-95407). Also I noticed something weird (but maybe unrelated - the url has a %20 in it but shouldn't - it should be a "-" (dash).

Where is the Link Site button on Google+?
I want my content authors to be able to associate their work with their Google+ profile. I read about an update rolled out in June that included a Link Site function on the Edit Profile -- About Tab. I don't see where to do this. Can anyone help me figure out how to enable this function?

Anyone use the new "Social Settings" in Google Analytics?
In the past couple of months, Google rolled out a tab called "Social Settings" in the Admin area (see image). It's an optional setting, and Google is rather vague about what it does. GA already tracks social in "Traffic Sources," so what is the advantage of using Social Settings? If you've used these new settings, what have your experiences been? Were the settings helpful? What Facebook Content to Post
Hi, Our website is nlpca(dot)com facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-NLP-Coaching-Institute-of-California/187804434598142 They recently added facebook. I told them for posting on the wall to do the following: Identify your target audience, possible people to like us Identify what they really really are searching for on Facebook and the web, and give it to them. How could we improve on this strategy. At first my boss wanted to post article sinippits and links to the articles, but I told him to create facebook content with the above (1) and (2) strategy Your thoughts?
