Is it Safe to Migrate from All-in-Seo WordPress Plugin to Yoast Plugin ?
-
I am using All-in SEO plugin from the time we started using blog, can we use the new Yoast plugin, i mean i do not want to lose any data or value to our article.
I want to migrate them
Will it be safe ! some saying do not go - others says you can !
Please if you ever did or have experience tell me ! My Blog is important for me !
The Yoast plugin gives many features compare to All-in-SEO.

Yeah any custom of the AIO custom fields you've configured will probably need to be re-entered into Yoast's custom fields. You can just copy and paste these out to a spreadsheet or something and then paste them back into the Yoast custom fields.
So yes, the functionality is retained to have separate search engine titles/descriptions and blog page titles/descriptions

Thanks guys,
"Have you setup custom meta descriptions and titles in All in One SEO?"
Each article page i make a customized Title and for the post and in AIO custom field in new post, And add meta keyword, descriptions under 160.
Are you telling about that ?
Can we have different title for the post a reader see in blog and in Google ?

Have you setup custom meta descriptions and titles in All in One SEO?
If so, you'll probably need to manually migrate these from one to the other.
If you've just relied on the default/automatic settings in All in One then you should be fine to swap over. Obviously each plug-in is different, so you may notice some changes to how it handles meta tags, redirects, etc. so you might see some impact on your search results (not necessarily down), but I would imagine it would be negligible.
Personally I'd go for Yoast's plugin over AIO, as it offers several features that AIO doesn't have. It's also kept more up to date, and Yoast really knows what he's doing. If you're going to make the switch do it now and then stick with it.

Yes this is a totally normal procedure. But as in everything you do with wordpress or otherwise please BACK-UP FIRST. But the procedure is standard and is done often. Both are quality plugins with Yoast definitely being the most popular choice. So a switch between the two is natural.
Here is the step by step guide:

Hope this helps

Dumb International SEO question?
Buongiorno from 18 degrees C Wetherby UK... Client asks - "My swedish site is http://www2.kingspanpanels.se/ how important is having the swedish suffix in the url with regards to rankings in Sweden?" I find these questions really challenging, its like the Hey if i change this url my SEO problems will be fixed, as if its that easy. So my question is - "How weighted is the url suffix / ccTLD in terms of SEO success for a territory / country" Put another way "If the swedish suffix .se was removed would it impact rankings in any way in Sweden?" Grazie tanto,

Thanks for your Input 🙂 0i8VXqr.png

Seo results are down. Is my "all in one seo pack" to blame?
My website www.noobtraveler.com has shown a dip of 40% since Penguin's last update in November. I also transferred hosting at time, but I was wondering if I'm over optimizing with the all in one seo pack. I would appreciate it if someone could do a quick sweep and share their thoughts. Thanks!

SEO for a starter
Hi I operate in a rather competitive market (IT and project management related training), and my focus is the UK market. I've recently started focussing on SEO. I have been creating content, albeit slowly. I have completed writing a book on my target subject, which is due to go out in a couple of weeks (I've received very positive feedback so far). And I have a decent PPC campaign. To get to decent ranking on Google etc., my plan is 1. Focussing on quality content and publishing on my site (I have about 15-20 articles in the pipeline). Reaching out for guess posts is next, but creating this much content is hard. 2. Get external SEO help for link building and off-page SEO. This is somewhat confusing for me, as I've got offers ranging from blog posts, BMR etc. I have some budget for this, but don't exactly know what to target. 3. Gradual focus on on-page optimisation. I haven't done anything on social front, on FB, Twritter. I do have a solid LinkedIn profile (personal). I have one full time resource available to help me out. What should I focus on? What am I missing? Cheers.
