Is there Anyway of finding out a companies facebook shares?

Is there anyway of finding out a companies facebook shares. When I checked out a competitor of one of my clients who seems to be very well placed without many links I discovered that they have over 298 facebook shares on Open Site Explorer but when I look at their site or search on facebook I cannot find any business facebook page for this company so I am really intrigued to find out where they are getting these shares from?
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanksTracy

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply I meant to add the company in question they are:

I would think that is mainly from users sharing the competitor's site on Facebook. The company would not need a presence on Facebook for users to simply paste a link to a piece of their content into a status update or post. If you provided their domain it would be possible for us to look a bit further into this.
Hope this helps,
Chris Wilson

Facebook Likes count and site migration to HTTPS
Hi everyone, We are currently migrating our website to HTTPS and, in the process, have read lots of different things about what happens to the social share counts afterward. My primary question is about the Facebook "Likes" count that is displayed on a website's Facebook page - does anything happen to that data when a website switches to HTTPS? My hope is that this data would not suffer at all, but I wanted to pose the question, because i can't seem to find info about that. Thank you in advance for your help! Eric

Is there a Facebook Ad equivalent to Google MCC?
Hi Mozzers, Really unsure if we are missing something here, but whilst trying to set-up paid ads for some of our clients on FB we have run into a significant issue. We need to be able to allow FB to debit multiple business accounts for varying ads on different pages. However every time we try to access the ads manager to set-up a new ad, FB takes us to the individuals (the person logged in to the page) account, rather than creating an ad account for that page/business individually. What are we missing? We use Google MCC for managing our PPC campaigns and so wondered if there is anything similar we can use for FB? Or any other recommendations on how to get round this without dragging each client into the office and asking them to log-in so that we can set these up? Thanks!

Facebook Spam - Suggestions?
We put a blog post up on our Facebook page earlier today. Within an hour, there were 560 likes and over 4,000 comments. While that sounds great, that is nowhere in the universe of normal. Almost all of that was spam (there were no services that we engaged in to bring likes/comments). So, has anyone else here been hit by rapid-fire Facebook spam? Any thoughts on what to do - leave it alone, delete the post, filters, etc.? Would love the advice of the Moz community. Thanks guys!

What's up with the #! in twitter & Facebook URL's?
I was just wondering why Facebook and now Twitter have added "#!" into the url structure? Does this mean we should link to a twitter profile like this - twitter.com/profile - anymore? Should we now be linking like this: twitter.com/#!/kevinbarnes Kevin

Does it make sense to have one facebook/twitter account for multiple websites?
If you have several different websites with related themes, does it make sense to just have a facebook or twitter page for the company to make managing the account more manageable?
