External Followed Links report

I would like to know, how do I get a report with the TOTAL amount of my external followed links.When I look on "Link Metric" it shows me: External Followed Links 2,951
But when I looked on Inbound links (only follow / only external), it shows me only 645. Why is that and how do I get the total from 2.951?

Thanks for reaching out! I think I have an answer for you!
OSE only displays 25 links for each root domain. So if you you have 2,951 links but 300 of them are from one domain, it will only show 25 of them. That should help explain the discrepancy you're seeing.

Hi, I have tons of incoming links to target pages on my website that do not exist. If you follow the link you get a 404 error.

Open Site Explorer external + follow links percentage
Hi how are you my root domain according to open site explorer has 90% of total links, external + follow. whereas my competitors have 5 - 6% how do I get this down to look more natural. Also what does this metric mean and how do I work out the percentage? Also I only have around 100 pages on my website which is a Shopify store and I have a small amount of internal followed links is this important for an ecommerce website as it is small number in comparison to my competitors. Root domains that link to the URL or domain
Hello Everyone, I need help understanding how does Moz linking root domains work. My website shows 73 domain pointing backlinks to my domain in google webmaster where on Moz Linking domain it only shows 18 domian. Any help on how this works. Thanks in advance. Sagar

Thousands of Missing Links in OSE Report
Hi there, Moz reports 70k+ external links pointing to my site but when I use the Open Site Explorer to export all links, I only see 9,000+ I have tried combining different combinations of fields ('this root domain', 'this subdomain', 'all links' etc) but can never see more than 9,000 links. My website does redirect to www. and have a couple of subdomains, the report for non www. only shows around 120 external links. We also use Ahrefs and the crawl reports here display 40k+ links (on the dashboard and when exported) which makes me believe the problem is not with my website but rather OSE. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks, Jason

How to increase number of internal links
Hi all, Using Open Site Explorer and Moz, we're getting only 50 internal links and like to know why. Our site is an online store with a quite good DA (26, see attached files) comparing with competitors, and all pages are in sitemap since several months, and crawled by google. Assuming that we have more than 2000 products in our site, and more of 10000 crawled pages with a link to the home page, we can't understand how "Total internal links" returns only 50. How can we increase internal links? Perhaps we misunderstood the meaning of "Total internal links" in page metrics. What does this value exactly mean? Any help will be appreciated. What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE?
What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE? How long does it generally take for a just discovered link to migrate in to the established link section? Are there other parameters that need to be met before a link can be referred to as established? Sorry for all the questions in one post, but I've had the same "just discovered" links in OSE for quite some time and have yet to see them migrate over to the "established" link section. I was hoping that when these links become established that it would help improve my site DA. Can anyone shed any light on this issue or have any other comments? Thanks MOZ!
