Why is the login button on moz.com timing out for too many resirects on safari?

On safari, when I click on "login" from moz.com, I quickly get a message saying safari can't open the page because of too many redirects.
Firefox works fine. What gives?

the /logout worked. It should be fixed though.

I posted the response above around 10 am. So now I'm back at around 2 pm and I'm logged out. Why? Why the rush to kick me off this site?

I know it's not an intentional error and I'm sure the Moz team are working hard to fix this.
The cookie error is not intentional but the timeout is intentional. Why not increase the timeout period or remove the timeout until the cookie defect is isolated and fixed?

I did receive the following response :
" So far we are only able to isolate this to a corrupt cookies issue. You will want to try clearing your cache/cookies in your web browser to see if it will work."
I know it's not an intentional error and I'm sure the Moz team are working hard to fix this.

Chris is correct, if you log out and then log back in, that should fix the problem for that session. That said, why does the system need to log us out so quickly? Why can't we stay logged in for a full day? Or better yet, why can't we stay logged in until we log out?

Its a bit of an error unfortunatly. Go to www.moz.com/logout (or simple type /logout) then log back in and it will fix it.
You can also drop help@moz.com an email and they can help worse case more info for them to work on. I believe its an issue with the cookies.
In short: you're logged in even though it doesn't look like it, so log out then log in again!

Moz analytics telling me I have duplicate content issues - how to fix this?
Hey guys, Okay I ran into moz analytics - I have I have 199 Issues, priority issues are showing 38 Duplicate page content. I began looking into the URL's and from what I have noticed from all the urls are showing me a common theme. The urls are pointing to my blog pages - my blog is using wordpress. What iv noticed is the urls all have "Tag" in it Here are 3 examples that I have found. All url's take me to a blank page: Does anyone know what the solution is to fixing this? I read the article for duplicate content covering 301 redirects and Rel=Canonical tags - I'm wondering if this would need to be considered in this case? Compare link metrics - What time frame is this in?
Hi, I'm comparing three sites and one of them I know is quite popular however a few of the social statistics are puzzling me; they've got a small amount of Facebook likes and times shared on twitter - Which just can't be right if it's all time. How many of my linked pages should I redirect (301's)
I'm moving my store to a new site and will have a much friendlier but completely different URL structure. I used Open Site Explorer to find inbound links to 513 pages and have done about half so far. The remaining pages have one link each at a page authority of 27 or less - but there are still 250+ of them. I have to manually view each old page, search for the product on the new site, and enter the redirect as there is no way to translate old URL's to new ones. How important is it for rankings to redirect the remaining 250 or so pages?

Any SEO moz users notice a HUGE change in OSE (Open Site Explorer) link data numbers?
Hi All, I am having some serious concern with OSE data recently for numerous clients, one client I want to talk about today has the following data from OSE for the month of August 2011 compared with July 2011: Total links to the domain: (decrease of around 100,000+)

External Followed links: (decrease by around 5,000)
**Linking Root domains: (decrease of over 60) ** The crazy thing is that the domain authority has actually gone up by around 5 points for this client even though every thing has suddenly gone down? Also funny thing is we have been link building quite strong for this client over the last 12 months using only high quality sources from out niche. I am worried that their is serious issues with the data, I realise we saw some updates to OSE recently yet I am suprised it can be this drastic. Kind Regards. PSV1
