How could I improve my "brand" and "mentions" using the Moz tool?
-
Hello I am a bit stuck on what to put into this section of MOZ. As you can see from the attached image I have setup to catch any mention of my business name and root url. But beyond that I am uncertain of what to use to monitor who is talking about us. I'm also uncertain of what other abilities or usefulness this function would have.

Hi Carl,
You can learn more on how to use our Brand and Mentions here: http://moz.com/help/guides/brand-and-mentions

Hi Carl,
There are a couple other things you might want to track in the Web Mentions tool. You could track the brand names of a few competitors. If you see that they are mentioned somewhere that would also be relevant to you, you might then determine a plan to get mentioned on the same site.
Likewise, you could track a few very specific keywords that pertain to your business. As with tracking competitors, this can help you find opportunities to get links and more mentions of your brand. I'd avoid generic terms like Wedding Dresses cause you'd be overwhelmed with thousands of mentions around the web, but something specific like Wedding Dresses AND Melbourne could give you some good leads.
Hopefully some others have more ideas they can share.
Tim

Tools like Followerwonk for Facebook and G+
I'm a huge fan of Followerwonk. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a product or service similar to it, but for Facebook or G+. I know G+ may be a stretch, but I'm hopefully there's at least one for Facebook.

Can not start a SEO MOZ campaign?
I keep getting this message, I have a 301 from my domain to my domain with the www prefix. What's the deal? We have detected that the domain www.photosbykristopher.com and the domain photosbykristopher.com both respond to web requests and do not redirect. Having two "twin" domains that both resolve forces them to battle for SERP positions, making your SEO efforts less effective. We suggest redirecting one, then entering the other here.

Best Online Branding Strategies?
Hi all, The CEO of my company wants me to start branding the company, basically from the ground up. I've been doing a bunch of reading on how to properly do this and only got so far as to be reiterated the same exact jargon everywhere I go: -"Put your logo everywhere" -"Have a clear company motto" -"Use branded keywords in backlinks" -"Include your logo and social links in company-wide email signatures" -"Make sure your brochures match your website, etc. etc. etc." I've not yet seen something I feel is worthy to report back to big boss as far as an good SEO strategy that is impressively branding central. Can anyone refer me to some GREAT articles with a to b instructions on exactly how to implement these branding strategies? The more creative the better. I'd be forever appreciative! Derek

Are there any good "geo location" seo tools.
Does anyone know of a good seo tool ( either in seomoz, or another website ) that will allow me to search google from different geo locations. For example, if I wanted to see how my company ranks for the term "computer repair" in redding california and sacramento california.

SEOmoz LDA tool experience?
http://www.seomoz.org/labs/lda Does anyone presently use this tool as a regular part of their SEO analysis? Does anyone have any updates regarding this tool? It is still in the lab despite no updates for over 6 months. Is it being retired? Or promoted to production? If you do use the tool, what % of relevance is your goal when optimizing pages?
