HootSuite is a helpful platform but can struggle to connect with Facebook. Buffer is another great option but as far as Google+ goes, will only post to pages and not yet profiles.

Suggested Social Stream Solution for Wordpress

Hi, I was looking for some ideas on Wordpress for social streaming. What I am looking for is to show my activity in the right sidebar of a blog. I would like to capture this in an attractive way. My site has a lot of pictures so visual is very important. Now having some some searching there are a thousand "share this" type plugins. My need is different in that I want to show the activity of what I am sharing in: FB, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. I found this plugin below that has several nice formats. OkCupid's javascript social media button?

Hi i'm looking to do something similar like http://blog.okcupid.com/ does with their blog, in which they display a social media button once the person hits the bottom of the page. Can anyone recommend a wordpress plugin which can do this? Cheers, Matt

Building links to a Twitter/social account

I've seen plenty of articles about using Twitter to build links, but how about building links to a Twitter account? Does registering on sites and directories like Topsy, Twellow and Klout help? We can link to Twitter accounts on our own websites and other social profiles, and use it as our link on blog comments etc, but is there anywhere else specific?

Social Signals CONFUSION

You know how sharing on social networking sites can act as social signal for ranking but I was wondering that what type of sharing on fb/google + ? does it has to be our site links all the time or any sharing other than our own site links matters too ? lets say if we are just discussing something on fb/google+ without our site link does that count too? social signal is sent only when we share our own sites link on social sites or through any kind of activity on our social fb/google+ page ? If you want to tell anything else connected with social signal please go ahead ..

Do you need exact url brand match to get the benefits of social media noise in the google organic rankings? EG: twitter.com/brandname facebook.com/brandname my url extensions have my brnad but other words in, if i get noise does my website stil benefit in the rankings because it has the url in the profile? or do i need exact match in the url?
