Rankings drop since switch to https

Switched hosting companies, and then switched to https for the entire marketing site as a result of needing the security for the signups. Rankings in several (most areas) have tanked since then. Site hasn't changed otherwise, is responsive, fast, and spidered well. See:
I FEEL like the redirection is being handled properly, but I can't be sure. Moz reporting duplicate content on the homepage between http and https - but I honestly don't know why.
Any help - ANY - is appreciated. Hair being pulled out, and I don't think I'll look good completely bald.

Can you explain why? I've looked around a lot on this, and there doesn't seem to be much agreement about it. https isn't costing anything with respect to performance, so why not do it?
I'll happily remove it from all the pages where it isn't required if its really making a difference.

OK - think it's fixed now. But could that possibly have been the issue for ALL the site rankings?
Thanks for this help by the way. Going to refer some friends to you ASAP for help if that's OK. They have zero technical skill, so they need direct help. And to be charged, of course.

After reviewing pisoftware.com, you only need https for the Login/Signup page. Why the hell would you need https for other web-pages as they are only "informational" pages; there's no transactions or sensitive information on them.
Putting the entire site in https is just a bad idea.

Kelly, I'm not seeing a redirect from the http version to the https: version. So these two sites are going to be seen as copies! ALl the internal links (on both versions) are pointing to the https: version though.
Think you need to take a look at the http: -> https: redirection.
This http request/response header checker is a useful way to test.for redirects etc: http://web-sniffer.net/

.co.uk ranking in serps and .com ranking on local
Hi im not sure what the best course of action is my client has one site but it has 2 TLD the .co.uk and the .com they wanted all .co.uk redirected to the .com but the .co.uk is ranking in the serps postion 2 and the .com is ranking in local, but is way back in the serps. So i have a bit of a dilemma, by the way it is a local business based in the uk. what should i do?

Strange ranking occurrences in Google (NL)
Mozzers, I got a question for all of you. Recently (about 3 months ago) I launched a renewed website for a costumer of mine. Since then rankings have been improving and some decreasing a little but overall it went quite allright. _Still, we now have some issues with some new pages and I really don't know what to do any more. _ The Case:

For starters lets say the company sells vacuum cleaners. We now make pages for specific product ranges e.g. Miele Diamond vacuum cleaners which in turn tells something about this product range and has links to different pages of that series, for instance the Miele Black Diamond Silent Vacuum Cleaner. Why did we do this? We already ranked for specific product pages but also wanted to rank for more general terms and thus product ranges. What happened? We now rank perfectly well for the product pages itself but for some reason the Miele Diamond Vacuum Cleaners page doesn't rank at all or not as it should. Why is this strange? Because we applied the exact same tactic for some other product ranges on the same website and it worked like a charm (part of the reason why we started to do this for all product-ranges). I could really use some help here. If you want I can message you the pagelink in PM but I won't post it here for several reasons. The Vacuum Cleaners in this example or not the real products though but used as an exemplar. I really do hope to hear from you with some advice or request for more information. Regards

Home Page Keywords not Ranking and Assigned to Inside Pages
Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. We have a few websites with the same problem. I will use http://www.prepared-meals.com as an example: The home page was ranking on page one for keyword "Prepared Meals". The site is about 6 months old. We use the Moz page optimizer on all pages of our websites to score an A rating. Recently we found the home page is no longer showing up in search results and the keyword "prepared meals" now points to an inside page that is not relevant: http://www.prepared-meals.com/Senior-Meals/Moms-Meals-Reviews.html this page shows up for Prepared Meals around page 15 in Google results. We have read keywords in the URL might be the issue, even though the page optimizer in MOZ says to do that. We are wondering if this is the issue or there is some other problem we are not aware of. Variations and Rankings
How do search engines view wording variances? I am trying to target Scottish Wedding Photographer but will google/bing etc be intelligent enough to see plurals, see the word Scotland instead of Scottish, photography instead of photographer? Also with rankings, I had a secondary phrase there to which I'm ranking sort of page 2-3 at the moment (the site is circa 3 months old) but finding that I'm nowhere with the Scottish phrase, I checked 30 pages of results and show nowhere, is this due to the competition for my phrase? This page has dropped could really do with some advice please

Quite a few pages on this site have dropped since the penguin 2.0 update. Unfortunately the backlinks seo has been done by a third party and I think the pages in question are sufferering from anchor text over optimisation but could really do with some opinions on this. I had quite a few backlinks from my own site to this site so i have removed them and I have also had a look at a directory site that was showing up and have requested removal. Is there anything else that is affecting this page - I have tweaked the content today and I get a ranking of A on the on page optimiser. http://www.cheapsnapframes.co.uk/pavement-signs.html Any help would be so much appreciated! Why aren't our articles ranking in Google?
We have a website promoting Pakistani lawyers online. The website also has an articles section where we post articles reviewing different legal cases and laws. All of our articles are written by actual lawyers are high quality and unique. Website itself doesn't have large page/site authority but its not a baby website either. I can't figure out why our articles don't rank on Google. Here are few of the articles:

Can't rank for a target key word "penalized?"
I've been trying to rank for the key word "kayak fishing" for my site www.yakangler.com. Last year when I started working on the SEO for my site I was on page 30 for Google search results so like the 300th result. After tweaking things on my site I managed to get to the second page but have since fallen all the way back to page 25-26 in the search results. I'm wondering if I'm penalized for this key word. I can't figure out why my site is ranking soooo badly for "kayak fishing" Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
