How to build links naturally?
-
Hi,
I recently started a website on famous Photoshop images. These are available in the internet, but on different sources, so i gathered them all and made them available in my website. So my content is not unique but it was gathered from different sources and made available in one website.
How can i get links naturally? Yes, it is a great content, but how people will know about my site so that they can reblog on their blogs?
How can i make the users to reblog my content and get links naturally?
Can anyone experienced help me?

I suggest doing a test marketing campaign with your personal and business Facebook page.
Create a catchy headline or comment on the photo, and post that with the link to your web page that should display the photo on that page. With the business page use the Booster promotion option to increase visibility and engagement.
Images drive engagement on Facebook and if they are famous and stunning then people should like them and share them. Make sure to give credit to the photographer.
You could also try the same campaign on Pinterest !
Based on the results / costs of the campaign, adjust and move forward. Good luck !

To get yourself started:
- Find similar sites around the keywords you're targeting.
- Comment on their blogposts in the most honest way possible.
- Get involved at the forums you'll find. Build authority.
- Maybe starting a contest is interesting for you?
Let me know if any of this is working for you.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies so far. Hey, robert, yes i am already doing the things you suggested me. But its been 2 weeks, and i haven't got any link or communication. Got a thought that i might be wrong, so asked a question here. I contacted many webmasters and bloggers but i hardly get a response from them.
Hey Kevin, Thanks for your suggestions. You suggested me Guest blogging, but Matt Cutts has already pointed that guest blogging has low value.
Hey Keri, No my images are not copyrighted, they are submitted by thousands of individuals who submit their content on many sites.

You Need to create awesome Content in case of you. I think You need to create unique Images that People are looking for to use in their Blogs/Website...
If you create awesome stuff, People will share/recommend your Website to others..
-
It's not related to links, but are any of the images that you use copyright? You don't want to go into the effort of putting the site together and getting people to know about it only to get takedown notices because images are used without permission.

If your content is great, links typically will naturally occur. However, I would do my best to communicate that this great content is there. A great way of doing this is guest blogging on their site. Also, try emailing bloggers that are in your genre about your site. Good luck!

Will link juice still be passed if you have the same links in multiple, outreach articles?
We are developing high quality, unique content and sending them out to bloggers to for guest posts. In these articles we have links to 2 to 3 sites. While the links are completely relevant, each article points to the same 2 to 3 sites. The link text varies slightly from article to article, but the linked-to site/URLs remain the same. We have read that it is best to have 2 to 3 external links, not all pointing to the same site. We have followed this rule, but the 2 to 3 external sites are the same sites on the other articles. I'm having a hard time explaining this, so I hope this makes sense. My concern is, will Google see this as a pattern and link juice won't be passed to the linked-to URLs, or worst penalize all/some of the sites being linked to or linked from? Someone I spoke to had suggest that my "link scheme" describes a "link wheel" and the site(s) will be penalized by Penguin. Is there any truth to this statement?

Do I have to many internal links which is diluting link juice to less important pages
Hello Mozzers, I was looking at my homepage and subsequent category landing pages on my on my eCommerce site and wondered whether I have to many internal links which could in effect be diluting link juice to much of the pages I need it to flow. My homepage has 266 links of which 114 (43%) are duplicate links which seems a bit to much to me. One of my major competitors who is a national company has just launched a new site design and they are only showing popular categories on their home page although all categories are accessible from the menu navigation. They only have 123 links on their home page. I am wondering whether If I was to not show every category on my homepage as some of them we don't really have any sales from and only concerntrate on popular ones there like my competitors , then the link juice flowing downwards in the site would be concerntated as I would have less links for them to flow ?... Is that basically how it works ? Is there any negatives with regards to duplicate links on either home or category landing page. We are showing both the categories as visual boxes to select and they are also as selectable links on the left of a page ? Just wondered how duplicate links would be treated? Any thoughts greatly appreciated thanks Pete

Internal links to blog posts
I am linking manually to blog posts in my site from my Home page. Our site isn't set up with an auto "Recent Posts" that shows on Home. Should I use the exact blog post title as the anchor text or do I need to create something that is not an exact match to the title of the post?

Domain Links or SubDomain Links, which is better?
Hi, I only now found out that www.domain.com and www.domain.com/ are different. Most of my external links are directed to www.domain.com/

Which I understand is considered the subdomain and not the domain. Should I redirect? (and if so how?)
Should I post new links only to my domain?0 -
Image Links Vs. Text Links, Questions About PR & Anchor Text Value
I am searching for testing results to find out the value of text links versus image links with alt text. Do any of you have testing results that can answer or discuss these questions? If 2 separate pages on the same domain were to have the same Page Authority, same amount of internal and external links and virtually carry the same strength and the location of the image or text link is in the same spot on both pages, in the middle of the body within paragraphs. Would an image link with alt text pass the same amount of Page Authority and PR as a text link? Would an image link with alt text pass the same amount of textual value as a text link? For example, if the alt text on the image on one page said "nike shoes" and the text link on the other page said "nike shoes" would both pass the same value to drive up the rankings of the page for "nike shoes"? Would a link wrapped around an image and text phrase be better than creating 2 links, one around the image and one around the text pointing to the same page? The following questions have to do with when you have an image and text link on a page right next to each other, like when you link a compelling graphic image to a category page and then list a text link underneath it to pass text link value to the linked-to page. If the image link displays before the text link pointing to a page, would first link priority use the alt text and not even apply the anchor text phrase to the linked page? Would it be best to link the image and text phrase together pointing to the product page to decrease the link count on the page, thus allowing for more page rank and page authority to pass to other pages that are being linked to on the page? And would this also pass anchor text value to the link-to page since the link would include an image and text? I know that the questions sound a bit repetitive, so please let me know if you need any further clarification. I'd like to solve these to further look into ways to improve some user experience aspects while optimizing the link strength on each page at the same time. Thanks!
