What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE?

What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE? How long does it generally take for a just discovered link to migrate in to the established link section? Are there other parameters that need to be met before a link can be referred to as established?
Sorry for all the questions in one post, but I've had the same "just discovered" links in OSE for quite some time and have yet to see them migrate over to the "established" link section. I was hoping that when these links become established that it would help improve my site DA. Can anyone shed any light on this issue or have any other comments?
Thanks MOZ!

Hey Gerard,
Paddy's right that it can be about 4-8 weeks to see the Just Discovered links show up in the main index, but we also had a delay in this most recent update so the data is not as fresh as it normally would be. Normally, the data in the index is collected for about three weeks prior to the update, while the data for this index is probably closer to 6 weeks. Even so, we began feeding sites and links into the scheduler to be included in the next index well before we start collecting data. This means that, even if we found your links in Just Discovered links 6 or 7 weeks ago, those links might not have made it into the scheduler for this most recent update. They should be in the schedule for our next update, however.
I would say that it can be several updates before you see the links from Just Discovered show up as fully established links in the index as a general rule. We are working on a project that will make the index update with much fresher data in the future.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the response Paddy,
I posted a similar question about OSE not too long ago and received a similar response (about looking at the mozscape update). I suppose that my only issue is that I'm really not seeing the new links generate in the established section, even after an update. I've been doing a lot of work in reaching out and developing new links from good sources, but I want to make sure I can see the results/data from all of the link building.
Thanks again! Cheers!

Unsolved Google results linking domains
When I check the linking domains of a root domain, a lot of Google results from other countries appear. Does this mean all of these domains are linking to my root domain? Can anybody explain this and tell me if this can be seen as spam or not? linking-domain-moz.png

What does "Number of Linking Root Domains" in Open Site Explorer actually mean?
I've read through the forum, but I'm confused as to what "Number of Linking Root Domains" means in the Linking Domains report. For example, if the root domain is Moz.com and the number is 135,000 does that mean there are 135,000 links from Moz pointing back to my site or does it mean there are 135,000 sites linking back to Moz? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

OSE Says no Contact Information
For quite some time the Open Site Exporer has been labeling one of my sites has having "no contact info", the site has the phone number all over the website as well as the full business address in the footer. It's been like this for some time. Does the OSE make mistakes or am I missing something? The contact information is fully indexable, I ran a spider simulator and it was able to pick up the phone & address.

How does spammy linked site have zero spam score?
I came across a law firm site with hundreds of horrible spam links to it. Of the 3330 links, all but 231 links have anchor text that has to do with "jordan 11s for sale". I'm trying to see how useful the moz spam score is, but clearly it's not reliable if this site has a score of zero. Many of the obviously spammy sites linking to it also have low to zero spam scores, although there are plenty in the 5-10 range. (see attached image). I also noticed that many sites were legit sites, but if you look at the source code, there's tons of hidden spam links in the code (e.g., www.chickasawgardens.net) Why would this site have a zero spam score? If you're curious, put it into open site explorer and have a look. It's a law firm based in Pennsylvania, most anchor text has to do with jordan sneakers and most links are foreign: penn-criminallawyers.com Is the spam score too lenient? Is the moz tool unable to find spam links coming from legitimate sites with hidden spam links? DrokMbP

What happened to my links in Open Site Explorer.
Hello, A while ago I had a problem with open site explorer saying that I had a problems with redirects on my home page. There was 302 redirect and it was giving me information from my www domain rather then from non www domain. With your awesome help, this issue is sorted now and when I type in my non www domain, it doesn't give me that weird message anymore. I have a different issue now. For some reason when I enter non www domain it doesn't show links from www version. I presume that this is affecting my site authority for non www version. Does it mean that link juice was not passed on to non www version from www version? Authority dropped by two points, but I'm not sure why. I'm more interested to know why it doesn't show my links from www version on non www version. And is that affecting my sites rankings. Thank you, Regards, Armands

Inbound Links - How accurate or up-to-date is Open Site Explorer?
When I type my domain into OSE I get a list of linking domains. Most of them I have seen before and I know were active last year. However, when I click through, many of these links have been removed (which is what I wanted/requested) and some of the pages return 404. Google (via link:www.mydomain.com) doesn't show these links as active either. My question is why does OSE show them? Thanks
