Why is Envato.com structured like it is.

Envato.com is a marketplace for various things. They act as an umbrella for 8 different websites that fall underneath them and each one offers a specific thing. Is there any SEO benefit to doing this?
Wouldn't it have been better off for them build all of these into envato.com. i.e.
envato.com/themeforest as opposed to the current ThemeForest.net
The only thing I can think of really is branding?
Let's assume that they didn't do this because they needed space to house all of the digital data or anything like that.

Envato is a big company with a lot of web assets, so it is really for branding of each / ease of use. Some people that use themeforest might have never heard of codecayon before and vice versa. They also have the size of site to support this kind of layout as well, they literally have 10's of thousands of pages for each site.
You also have to consider that during the development of these different sites, SEO was different as well. Exact match in domain names did more than it does now. So having theme, code and so on in the domain name helped back then too.

I wondered that too, i buy a lot of things from them and each department has a different name, maybe they just kept adding on services. It seems like they are just several websites linked together not just one website.

I wanted to contact moz.com. I started my 30 day trial to test service.
After 2-3 days totally forgot about it. I remembered about moz.com when i received invoice saying they're gonna charge me.
I immediately wrote email to them that I do not want this service. I forgot and only put credit card data because i was required to. And would like a refund since it was 2-3 hours after bill. Unfortunately sending messages via their contact form is not an option. There is no confirmation on my email they received message nor return message from them.0 -
Plan for Analyzing and Optimizing Internal Link Structure
I've noticed that our site has what appears to be a poor ratio of external-to-internal links. I know there are no hard and fast rules in SEO but generally I've come to understand that this ratio should be relatively balanced, and in some cases I've seen some correlation of high-performing/ranking sites closer to 70-30 (external-internal). I'm not going to get into specifics, but our ratio is well-below 50-50 (heavy on internal links compared to the volume of inbound external links). My hypothesis is that this is diluting the link equity/authority for the domain. Moz's tools don't really provide any data beyond the initial data point of the volume of internal links compared to external. Being that I've never really gone down this rabbit hole before, I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar and could point me in the right direction. Spam score very high but it's not clear in MOZ, it looks like a bucle
Hey there, I've a problem with this domain www.cornerjob.com In OSE just saw a spam score very high and so, I tried to see backlinks' profile in order to find suspicious backlinks. But in OSE there's a bucle, I mean: I know my domain has a high spam score but I cannot see any bad backlinks, actually the only one I see it's the same www.cornerjob.com...for that, It's a bucle. I tried to use other tools but I wasn't able to see backlinks, actually we don't have many. What Should I do in order to fix it? What does spam score mean? Thanks in advance Francesca

I am getting this pop up on every page I visit: A username and password are being requested by http://lsapi.seomoz.com. The site says: "SEOmoz" I've searched some forums and see that others are experiencing it as well. The advice was to log into my seomoz account, however that did not work...any ideas?
