Why is Envato.com structured like it is.

Envato.com is a marketplace for various things. They act as an umbrella for 8 different websites that fall underneath them and each one offers a specific thing. Is there any SEO benefit to doing this?
Wouldn't it have been better off for them build all of these into envato.com. i.e.
envato.com/themeforest as opposed to the current ThemeForest.net
The only thing I can think of really is branding?
Let's assume that they didn't do this because they needed space to house all of the digital data or anything like that.

Envato is a big company with a lot of web assets, so it is really for branding of each / ease of use. Some people that use themeforest might have never heard of codecayon before and vice versa. They also have the size of site to support this kind of layout as well, they literally have 10's of thousands of pages for each site.
You also have to consider that during the development of these different sites, SEO was different as well. Exact match in domain names did more than it does now. So having theme, code and so on in the domain name helped back then too.

I wondered that too, i buy a lot of things from them and each department has a different name, maybe they just kept adding on services. It seems like they are just several websites linked together not just one website.

My client is in the Custom Scale Model industry. They build Custom Aircraft Models, Custom Ship Models and more. Their competitor's Backlinks reports have a Ton of metrics coming from: http://www.keywordbasket.com and https://www.keyword-suggest-tool.com There is line after line of these entries in the backlink report. As much as 50 line entries. what exactly is happening here? Are they manually using these tools to generate search entries and caching this data in the form of Backlinks? I see some links on Youtube.com that look like they are "Do-follow" links am I wrong?
Hi, I have some videos on YouTube.com and I notice many of the links show as "Do-Follow" per the Moz Bar. I have a feeling they are not actually "Dofollow" links because they never show up in Moz Pro, SemRush or any of my other tools. Can some of you people with greater knowledge of YouTube please clarify why the links look like "Do Follow". I am specifically thinking of my own backlinks on the videos and also the links in the "Comments". Best Regards, Bill Dalessi

302 Status Code for .com but 200 Status Code for .com/
I ran a moz crawl report for one of my sites. For mywebsite.com I'm getting a 302 HTTP Status Code but for mywebsite.com/ I'm getting a 200 HTTP Status Code. mywebsite.com -Title tag "blank" - Meta Description "blank" - HTTP Status Code "302" - Referrer "blank" - Content Type Header "blank" - 301/302 target "/" - Rel-Canonical Target "blank" mywebsite.com/ - Title tag "correct tag" - Meta Description "correct tag" - HTTP Status Code "200" - Referrer "mysite.com" - Content Type Header "text/html" - 301/302 target "blank" - Rel-Canonical Target "mysite.com/" Will this cause any issues with the search engines? Is there a way to fix this? I'm on wordpress and use Yoast SEO premium plugin. I have sites ranking in many different niches and have done similar white hat SEO for all of my others. They are ranking in competitive niches but for some reason this site is in the 200-300s for basically all keywords in not a very competitive niche. It has excellent content, links and no penalties. I have a new website and would like to use the keywords my competitors are using and was wondering the best way to take a look using Moz Pro?
The website is www.fapwrap.com - it's a new adult wall decals website. [editor's note: may not be safe for some workplaces] The wall decals we have are obviously a bit more niche than the bigger competitors, but I want to get into the first page to see how it helps us. I'm slowly taking over some kws like "xbox wraps" and "ps4 wraps" but those have low search volume and I feel like "wall decals" will help - though it's highly competitive. Suggestions? I just kinda want to plug in my competition and pick from their list of existing kws..... Ha.

Moz doesn’t show the right facebook likes.
Hi moz help, I found out that in opensiteexplorer.org our Facebook likes counts zero, while my facebook account actually counts more than 600 likes. How is this possible?
