Redirect 301 multiple url to frontpage

I have a lot of /dummy.php/xxx pages that i would like to redirect to the front page.
/dummy.php/100
/dummy.php/101
/dummy.php/102
.....redirect 301 /dummy.php/WILDCARD http://www.domain.com
I can not figure it out?

I would test this, and it might work differently according to your server setup, but you could try the RedirectMatch command like this if your site uses mod_alias:
RedirectMatch 301 ^/dummy.php/.*$ http://www.domain.com/
Or with mod_rewrite, this might be the way to go:
RewriteRule ^dummy.php/ http://www.domain.com/ [R=301,L]I hope this helps!

Multiple domains on same IP address, same niche but different locations.
I have a reseller web hosting account. I have more than 30 domains hosted on this account, and I have only one IP address. The websites are exactly similar in terms of niche but different locations, for example plumberlondon.co.uk

Will redirecting 250 linking domains to a new website from an old website freak Google out?
Prior to my accepting a project, the client decided to change the name of their company and purchased a new domain name to match. They hired a designer to build their new company site which has now been up and running for a little under 12 months. Up to this point they have done a good job of slowly redirecting small handfuls of linking domains from the old site to the new. They want to make one last push and point the remaining 250 linking domains from their old site to their new site. Will redirecting 250 linking domains to a new website from an old website freak Google out? If so, how many domains should be redirected at one time? My main concern is not wanting to upset Google and see the floor fall out on current keyword rankings, domain authority and page rank, etc.

URL in signature of discussion forum post
I used to see URL's in the signature part of discussion forum posts covering various topics but it does not seem popular anymore. It seems like a good way to build links and I am wondering why it is not used. Suppose I ask a question about proper tooth brushing technique on the forum at "toothbrushingforum.com" and user "ToothBrushWizard" is nice enough to answer my question. Linkbuilding URL Problem
Hi, I work for Perfectly Engraved. A lot of our links point to http://www.perfectlyengraved.co.uk/. However that address forwards to - http://www.perfectlyengraved.co.uk/ecommerce/scripts/default.htm. Should we ensure our links point to http://www.perfectlyengraved.co.uk/ecommerce/scripts/default.htm or does it not make difference? What to do when a Bad URL has to stay?
I am working with a friend on optimizing a site that has a troublesome set of issues. The company has integrated some ERP system that cannot be changed or removed and it is creating goofy URL's. Links from multiple sites coming from the same server?
Hi SEO Mozers, As I structure my link building campaign I come across alot of directories some of which are located on the same server. If I am to place links on these sites is this is negative signal for big G? The reason I ask is because I see that a competitor has used these various directories and is ranking on the no 1 spot for a moderately competetive keyword. I am able to place links on the sites with almost no effort at all therefore even if it does not pass alot of link juice is it still worth it for me. But if this is seen as a negative I would not persue it. What is your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance, Ross
