Will Schema help my website?

I'm doing SEO on a website, zing.co.nz, which is a soon to launch company. At the moment there is a splash sight up, which will be replaced by the real sight in a few weeks upon launch. Is it worth me putting in Schemas (for the first time) so that it is recognized as an organization? Will this effect us in the serps? Thanks for your help

This is the best guide to adding to Wikidata that I could find - http://undead-seo.blogspot.com/2014/03/create-wikidata-topic.html. I actually came here to Moz hoping I'd find something beyond that, but this seems to be the only thread on the Moz Q&A that even mentions the word "wikidata".

I found a decent guide for listing a business on Freebase.
Does anyone have anything that they can share in terms of how to use Wikidata for local SEO?

Adding that will help little to nothing at this point but it doesnt hurt because youll do it eventually.
When you do, make sure you do the other things like adding and verifying in google places, putting your organization in freebase/wikidata and others. Those will solidify your organizations entity online.

Well the schema for Organization is mainly marking up an address and contact details as far as I know. I wouldn't bother uploading it if its changing in 3 weeks. I assume this is the page you want to upload it to - zing.co.nz ?
You are better off investing time creating G+ / MyBusiness page in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice, we don't sell products so that isn't really relevant for us but we do have a blog on a subdomain. The main thing I am wondering is, is it worth ding schema on the main website as its going to change in 3 weeks when its launched?

You should definitely use Schema, depending on the website it may help. For example if you have products and use schema on the reviews you will display stars in the SERPs for that page (which is likely to increase CTR) and if its a blog you will display publish date in SERPs. I don't know about increasing the organic results so much but it definitely helps search engines crawl your site.

Divi Help!
I've added our phone number and email address in the header settings in Divi. For whatever reason, when I'm editing the header elements I can see it, but when I view the website it's not showing... Schema Review For Attorney wordpress website
I have a wordpress website for an attorney. I would like to implement schema markup rating/review. My client has really good reviews and I want to show the 5 stars in the SERPs. His rating is 5 out 5 stars. There are different plugins that are good only to leave a review, and the stars would only appear only for that review page in the SERPs. I would like the home page to have the stars in the SERPs. Is there a way to get it done? Thanks!

Schema.org problems (still)
Hey Mozzers, I've been working at this for a while now, and I can't figure out why the rich snippet data is not getting pulled for our reviews and product rating. I was told not to list multiple reviews, so I took them out. But it's still not being picked up in the SERPs, and we would really like the star rating data to appear. Keyword Stuffing - Ecommerce websites
Hey Mozzers, Im undertaking a content audit and its going very well, we have written some better content for the first set of pages, it still needs some improvement but we have a good base and starting point from which we can make an SEO log and work on it over time. For the content I used the following formula for how many times to include a keyword Word Count / Length of Keyword. (eg. 600 words / 3 word keyword = 200). Then 1-4% of this (2-8 times). This has worked well for me in the past and has been a good base guide. I have ran the pages through Moz optimiser and every single page hit an A for keyword page optimisation. However many of the pages failed on keyword stuffing, which obviously has high priority. My dilemma is that, moz counts 15 as the cut off for keyword stuffing with the written text we have done really well with using it a set number of times. But these pages are product category pages. The keyword in the extreme of cases is listed 7-9 times in the side nav menu. 7-9 times in the product category listings. Take for example *** it is optimised for thermometers (i know it a tough single word keyword, and we have fairly modest aims with it, im using it here for example purposes). The word is used a good number of times within the article but is sent through the roof with the links to the sub categories. This page for example mentions the keyword 30 times. Can anybody suggest any ways to improve on this? Is how we display the categories in the nav bar and in the page excessive? As always many thanks!

Unexplained Drop In Ranking and Traffic-HELP!
I operate a real estate web site in New York City (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com). It was hit by Penguin in April 2012, with search volume falling from 6,800 per month in March 2012 to 3,300 by June 2012. After refreshing content and changing the theme, volume recovered to 4,300 per month in October 2013. There was a big improvement in early October 2013, perhaps tied to a Panda update. In November 2013 I hired an SEO company. They are reputable; on MOZ's recommended list. After following all their suggestions (searching and removing duplicate content, disavowing toxic links, improving the site structure to make it easier for Google to index listings, re-writing ten key landing pages, improving the design of the user interface) ranking and traffic started to decline in April of 2014 and crashed in June 2014 after an upgraded design with improved user interface was launched. Search volume is went from 4700 in March to around 3800 in June. However ranking on the keywords that generate conversions has really declined, and clicks from those terms are down at least 65%. My online business is severely compromised after I have spent almost double the anticipated budget to improve ranking and conversion. A few questions: 1. Could a drop in the number of domains lining to our site have led to this decline? About 30 domains that had toxic links to us agreed to remove them. We had another 70 domains disavowed in late April. We only have 78 domains pointing to our domain now, far less than before (see attached AHREFs image). It seems there is a correlation in the timeline between the number of domains pointing to us and ranking performance. The number of domains pointing to us has never been this low. Could this be causing the drop? My SEO firm believes that the quality of these links are very low and the fact that many are gone is in fact a plus. 2. The number of indexed pages has jumped to 851 from 675 in early June (see attached image from Google Webmaster tools), right after a site upgrade. The number of pages in the site map is around 650. Could the indexation of the extra 175 page somehow have diluted the quality of the site in Google's eyes? We have filed removal request for these pages in Mid June and again last week with Google but they still appear. In 2013 we also launched an upgrade and Google indexed an extra 500 pages (canonical tags were not set up correctly) and search volume and ranking collapsed. Oddly enough when the number of pages indexed by Google fell, ranking improved. I wonder if something similar has occurred. 3. May 2014 Panda update. Many of our URLs are product URLs of listings. They have less than 100 words. Could Google suddenly be penalizing us for that? It is very difficult to write descriptions of hundreds of words for products that change quickly. I would think the Google takes this into account. If someone could present some insight into this issue I would be very, very grateful. I have spent over $25,000 on SEO reports, wireframe design and coding and now find myself in a worse position than when I started. My SEO provider is now requesting that I purchase even more reports for several thousand dollars and I can't afford it, nor can I justify it after such poor results. I wish they would take it upon themselves to identify what went wrong. In any case, if anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I am very suspicious that this drop started in earnest at the time of link removal and the disavow and accelerated at the time of the launch of the upgrade. No admin portal access to website! Help!
While reading the beginners guide, I noticed that to increase my SEO I need to have access to the physical website (ie. to use html rich text/meta tags). I, however, used a third party creative team to build my site, so I have no admin access. Are there any step-by-step instructions of things I can do if I don't have portal access to my website to increase SEO? Please let me know. Thanks..

Ecommerce website consolidation
I have a large ecommerce site and several smaller nitche ecommerce sites. All have the same products, but the smaller sites are loosing traffic. I want to combine all the sites to the larger site so it will be easier to manage, but I don't want to loose any rank on the smaller sites. Example: www.yourpromopeople.com - This is the large site I want to use. www.logocoolies.com www.fourcolormagnets.com - These are a couple of the smaller sites I want to combine with the larger one. Questions: What are the pros and cons in doing this? What would be the best way to do this? Would redirecting the URL's to the larger site's product pages do the trick or is there a better option?
