Does anyone have a good program they use for full site audits?
-
I'm looking to find a program that will do the following:
- Scan for page errors including code issues, hosting issues, redirect issues, etc.
- Pages missing Google Analytics
- Google + Local audit to identify issues with NAP, citations, category selection etc.
- Find pages with title issues including missing page titles, duplicates or titles that are too short or too long, header tag issues such as missing H1 tags
- Meta description issues including missing meta descriptions, duplicate meta descriptions or meta descriptions that are too short or too long
- Link issues including broken internal or external links or missing anchor or ALT text
- Identify internal or external links using rel=”nofollow”
- Image issues, such as missing ALT or title text and broken images
- Identify pages using Schema.org microdata
I know there are probably a couple programs that will do little bits here and there so I'm open to suggestions.
Thank you.

Don’t really want to add anything more, the one word answer to your question is “Screaming Frog”!
Hope this helps!
-
Thank you Dirk for the advice. This is very helpful.
-
Just an add-on. Screaming Frog gives you a good overview of the health of your site by going to the reports link on the main menu and selecting "crawl overview".
Then, if want to be sure you've covered everything, I highly recommend this Moz post. http://moz.com/blog/how-to-perform-the-worlds-greatest-seo-audit

Ask Dirk recommends, you're probably going to need more than one program to cover this list. The tools here (Moz Local for NAP issues, Moz Analytics for SEO issues) would also help. Another crawler option is Xenu Link Sleuth, while GWT, Bing Webmaster, and Yandex can also help.
If your points were numbered, Moz Analytics would address: part of 1 (redirects), 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Hi
You should check screaming frog - http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/#download - which can do most of the tasks you list. It's free to try (crawling up to 500 url's) - 99 pound for annual licence . Not sure about the local stuff - all the other points you mention can be done.
To check Google Analytics you will have to add 2 custom filters (contains/does not contain ua-xxxxxxx) to see which pages have/have not the tag on it.
Idem for Schema.org markup - add the markup you want to check as custom filter and check the pages that do not have the markup in the HTML
rgds,
Dirk

Server was banned, now all sites have dropped ranking.
Hi, I'm new here 🙂 I look after half a dozen sites on the one server. Early January three of those Wordpress sites were hacked and reported for phishing. All sites have been cleaned and the report(s) removed but they are all ranking much lower than previously. I also added IP block to the sites to limit the traffic to Australia and New Zealand as these are all local small businesses. I checked IP reputation for the server and it is neutral, with no blacklisting showing. I checked with the hosting company and they have no bans or warnings on the server either. These sites were ranking ok, usually first or second page but they have all dropped down to page 5 or worse now. Is there anything else I should check? I have resubmitted the sites to Google a few days ago. Any guidance greatly appreciated. I a web designer so I know a little about SEO but this is beyond me.

Can I use Schema zip code markup that includes multiple zip codes but no actual address?
The company doesn't have physical locations but offers services in multiple cities and states across the US. We want to develop a better hyperlocal SEO strategy and implement schema but the only address information available is zip codes, names of cities and state. Can we omit the actual street address in the formatting but add multiple zipcodes?

Local Search Location Keyword Use
Hello. Whats the best way to approach the use of location phrases within the page content itself? Say your based in a large city but also work in smaller surrounding areas, would you target the main location i.e. "London" on the home page and the main product/service pages directly. Or would you leave this all to deeper pages where you can more easily add value? I can imagine that the inclusion of the location i.e. "London" might compromise the quality of the writing. And put off the users from other locations. For example on the Home Page if your targeting:

Keyword: Widgets
Location: London Widgets in London and Beyond For the best Widgets in London come to... And for a key product or service page if your targeting:
Keyword: Car Widgets
Location: London Car Widgets London and Beyond For the best Car Widgets in London come to... On deeper pages its going to be easier to make this work, but how would you approach it on the main pages and homepage? Hope that all makes sense?0 -

Content writing for single entity business (The use of I)
Most of my clients consist of single entity law firms in which my clients repeatedly use the pronoun "I" to describe every service they provide. I have always preferred using the business name The Law Office of..." put lawyer name here". Is it ok to repetitively use the pronoun "I" in the content. To me it feels lack luster and childish not very professional, however I have a hard time convincing the lawyers of this. What are your thoughts? Can good content be written with the repetitive use of "I"? If not is the business name sufficient or maybe another pronoun? I will be showing responses to my clients if that is ok.

Server response time: restructure the site or create the new one? SEO opinions needed.
Hi everyone, The internal structure of our existing site increase server response time (6 sec) which is way below Google 0.2sec standards and also make prospects leave the site before it's loaded. Now we have two options (same price): restructure the site's modules, panels etc create new site (recommended by developers)

Both options will extend the same design and functionality. I just wanted to know which option SEO community will recommend?0 -

What is the best CMS Approach for Multilingual Versions of Site?
We have expanded into France and Brazil and now have a someone in-house that can translate to French and Brazilian Portuguese. I own ".fr" and ".com.br" versions of our domain. We are using Wordpress for our CMS. We are currently publishing about 2 articles a week on English site which we would be translating and publishing through new international sites (when appropriate). We will be changing out photos and videos at times in addition to all the text/copy. So, before I jump deep into this I wanted to reach out for help regarding the best modern approach to this. Should I use some sort of WP Plugin that will let me manage each of these through 1 WP install or is it better to run each separately through multiple WP installs? I want to achieve this while... avoiding any duplicate content penalties. provide easy admin/editor management of publishing content. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
