Why is the company reference of "designed by" with a link back my web development site not being indexed as a link?

Using the Mozbar I am analyzing my links and my competitors links. I am noticing other web developer sites are getting credit/index links from all their client's websites with the "designed by...." link in the footer. However, for me I only see one "inbound link" in the link analysis report. Sometimes I notice a company getting several inbound links on one site they built. I have built many other sites and have my company link below on all the footers. Why are the other sites not showing up as "inbound links" on the link analysis report?

Did you look specifically at the sites Patrick mentioned for link assessment? You can use Majestic for free for sites you control, which is great.
However, if we are talking about "designed by" footer links, those are not going to be very valuable in any case, and should probably be nofollowed, anyway.

Yes, the same data came up for me using Hubpsot. I submit all my client's site to be forced indexed via "fetch with Google" and sitemap submission in Google webmaster tools. The site which is giving me the inbound link is not a high traffic site. The other sites I have built for clients get tons of traffic for users each day, therefore I would assume more indexing and attention. What else can I do? I see that my competitor's (website developers locally) are getting better rankings due to the inbound links from sites they built, I should also .
Any other ideas?

Hi there
Crawlers sometimes catch links and sometimes don't - they are all different. Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs, and Search Console will all return different link data sets, so don't be discouraged because you don't see it in one tool. Sometimes it's a matter of when you acquired a link and when their site was crawled.

No keywords displayed for site in Keywords by Site or in CSV report. Why?
We have a site that we ran in On-Demand Crawl and Keyword Explorer. On-Demand Crawl revealed some information. However Keyword Explorer did not. We know there are ranking keywords for the site but no such keywords were detected by Moz. However, when we ran Link Explorer, 12 ranking keywords were detected and associated with the site. Why is there a discrepancy between these two reports? Thank you in advance.

Moz crawling http rather than https site
Our site is secure but when I ask moz to crawl it by giving the root domain including https moz insists on crawling the non secure version. How do i force it to crawl the secure version?

UPDATE: Rolling back an adjustment which had adverse effects on DA and PA scores.
UPDATE: Yesterday's (June 4, 2018) adjustment to our DA/PA metrics turned out to have some unanticipated adverse effects. We're rolling back the adjustment, so by midday tomorrow you should see your scores return to what they were earlier this week. We're also implementing some new procedural checks on our end to help make sure it doesn't happen again. We sincerely apologize for any stress or burden this may have caused. We also want to emphasize that DA and PA are relative metrics. The scores will fluctuate slightly with the index, and for that reason, should be used to compare your site with others. We realize this isn't always easy to explain to clients and stakeholders, so we're working on ways to help you all report these metrics in ways that minimize the potential for confusion. ****** We are continuing to improve our Domain Authority and Page Authority algorithms and strengthen our link index. As of today, June 14, 2018, You may notice a slight variation in current and historic DA/PA scores in Link Explorer and tools that incorporate our new link data such as Campaigns, Keyword Explorer, and MozBar. This is due to a planned adjustment on our end that could be more noticeable than our standard updates. We made this adjustment in order to account for the rapid growth of our link index over the past 6 months and and stabilize distribution of scores over time. For customers who have been tracking DA scores over time, you may want to make note of this adjustment date in your reporting. Rest assured that our DA and PA scores are still far more stable and accurate than they were previously in Open Site Explorer. Our index is now 20 times larger (and growing) and updating daily rather than monthly, therefore standard fluctuations in the index are far less noticeable in your score than before. DA and PA will still always fluctuate slightly and naturally with the index. As the landscape of the internet changes, so should our index to reflect those changes. Whenever we make an update on our end that could be noticeable on your end, we will let you know. Also, please remember that DA and PA scores should always be understood as relative to other sites’ scores in the index, and reported to clients in relation to their competition and not as a standalone metric of individual performance. Do other sites linking to my page with a low domain authority affect my rankings?
Hello, my page authority 30, I see other page with an authority of 21 for example linking to us. Is this good or bad, does this affect our ranking? A lot of these don't have anchor text, I'm guessing we should reach out to these webmaster to include anchor text with the keywords we want to drive traffic to this page or make as descriptive as possible? Hello, As I have used site explorer on competition sites, I am curious what I need to do to have my facebook, twitter, and pinterest links to shop up as a backlink?
