Text in Accordian - Will Google Crwal
-
We have a lot of information on our site and wanted to know if Google would still read all the text even if we have it in an accordion affect. We would have a place to click on to read more for the site viewer.
-
Google stated last year that they render pages as a normal user would. So if content is initially hidden in an accordion, Google may asses a value less than if it wasn't hidden in the first place. This also assumes that the hidden content has been crawled and indexed. Thoughts?
-
In 2013 we moved a lot of information that was already visibly published on some pages into accordion-style content. Traffic into those pages from search engines dropped significantly. In 2014 we decided that accordion content was not working for us so we made that information visible again. Traffic climbed slowly back to good levels. So, I have sworn a strong oath not to use accordion content ever again.

The google will definitely crawl the text in the accordian. You can post special weblink for a further scrutiny. If your read more is on the same page there should not be a problem. You have to be though careful about your settings about what to index and what not to

Are there any plans for a Moz connector to Google Data Studio
Hello all, As title reads, are there any plans for a Moz connector to Google Data Studio to help automate reporting? I'm surprised this doesn't exist already because Data Studio is so heavily used. Thanks in advance. Simon

On what basis the domain authority will be calculated
Dear Moz Community, I am running one website www.SubhaVaastu.com, previously it has 32 DA, suddenly backs to 29. This site is registered in October 2003. Daily updated with the latest content. Maintaining world-class content qualities and its unique. Just last week, we found that DA come down from 32 to 29. What are the reasons for downgraded this DA. DA, is important as per SEO?. From where it is created, who creates this DA, either google or MOZ? How to improve DA, either with the help of directory submissions or any other sources. What are the uses of DA. Thank you Community experts. Regards Suresh

Will MOZ be updating there tools with regards to the new Meta Description length?
Now that Google has increased the number of characters allowed for meta descriptions/snippets when will MOZ be updating the tools to cater for the new lengths? I'm sure a lot of my Meta descriptions that are being flagged as too long with disappear once updated. Cheers Lee B

Will the Pro tool be updated to reflect the new meta description length?
Hi, I'm wondering if and when the tool will be updated for the above purpose - I'm currently testing it out with a view to purchase a subscription and have onboarded a couple of clients, but the reports are coming back with meta description length errors, but as I'm sure you know the "legal" length of these was recently increased to I believe 320 characters. Any insight here would be awesome - thanks so much!

Keyword opportunity & Google flights
I am currently giving keyword advise for an airline company. Since they have huge competition from sponsored 'Google Flights', I was really happy with the 'Keyword Opportunity'-metrics in the Keyword Explorer. However, Google flights does not seem to be consistently taken into account for the Keyword Opportunity score. Eg. 'Place A to Place B' gets a low opportunity score (50-60), which makes sense, because there are four Adwords ads + a huge 'Google flights' box above the classic 10 blue links. However 'Flight from Place A to Place B' gets a score of 90-100. If I check the last query, there is the same 4 Adwords ads, and also the Google Flights box. The Opportunity score seems completely unreliable here?

Will the Moz Keyword Explorer Tool (which I LOVE BTW) some day allow you to see search result figures broken down by location?
I know this is a long shot, but are there plans to eventually filter keyword volumes by location like the Google AdWords tool does today? Or is that never going to happen? Assuming not, are there other recommended avenues for teasing out keyword volumes of a local vicinity? I work for a health system, so nearly all of our customers are local. So I always feel like I have to guess on words like "urgent care" since obviously I'm not trying to rank nationally, but often people do not use a geo modifier term when searching.

What tool will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword?
Hello Moz Community, I'm wondering if there is a tool (or a function with Moz Pro) that will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword. I'm able to see my keyword rankings in Moz Pro, but can't see search volume for those keywords. I'd love to prioritize which lower-ranking keywords should be improved based on their search volume. Any ideas? Thanks! Robert
