DA hasn't Moved over
-
We moved our site over a couple of weeks ago from bi-mi.com to bimi.co - its a magento site. We followed instructions to wait 2 weeks and upload a coming soon page etc to help google realise it was not just a parked domain.
We moved everything over and then set a hta record up to redirect the "bi-mi" base domain to "bimi" , we then logged teh site move within web master tools also and I set the bimi.co preferred url etc.
However its been about a week and half now and the DA is still showing as 1 and bi-mi (the old site that is redirecting) is showing as 18
Is it just patience needed here or have any of you also come across this issue?

Hi Chenzo, yes magento to magento, 301 redirect on the base domain was made after the site was made live and indexed. Any advice much appreciated! I am really enjoying these forums - hope you don't all get sick of me! haha

DA = Moz. Much slower crawl rate and index updates so DA will take longer to update. Not to mention you only have 1 backlink in OSE so you really shouldn't be worried about DA. Your 301 redirects seem fine so everything should go smoothly. What more important is what your organic traffic is looking like.

Hi Kelly,
Fist of all, there is always going to be a drop off of some sort when you 301 one site to another, but I don't know how OSE will report this. I would also suspect that the DA will update when Moz gets around to crawling your site again - but I don't know how long this will take.

Kelly,
You went from magento TO magento?
Did anyone use 301 re-directs during the build?
Your pal,
Chenzo

PA 1 and DA 1, the website is not new
Hi everyone! I have a website (ponturipariuri.pro), few years old. The PA and DA used to be around 25-35 but now it shows me 1 for both PA and DA. I just discovered it and I do not understand why. Take a look at the image I attached here. There was no spam on my website. Google still shows my website on the first page for many keywords. 3ojp7qt.png

Why aren't my "page social metrics" increasing?
I post a lot to Facebook & twitter, & my "page social metrics" haven't budged in 4 weeks. I even stopped using bit.ly & stated the full URL as a test. Still no change. The fb account is /getgoodgifts & twitter is /giftsing. Thoughts on why social metrics aren't increasing?

Site moved to https and not showing any Moz DA or PA
Hello Fellow Mozzers, So, I have a client site that we moved from non https to https at the end of 2015. We had decent moz numbers (Da/Pa etc) but now we are only showing a 1 for both of them. Does it usually take time for Moz to carry over the info to the https version or does that process entirely start over? Not sure where to start looking. Cheers D
