Does the Crawl Diagnosis - Duplicate Page Content account for a canonical meta tags?

I see the same page listed 3 time (with different query params). But on each I have a meta tag pointing to the correct canonical url.

By still seeing all three listed, does that mean there is an error with my meta tag?

At this time, we don't change the duplicate report based on canonical tags.

I hate to assume but I am pretty sure there is certain problem with the canonical url.

need to see the real example to provide you with right answer.

What's my best strategy for Duplicate Content if only www pages are indexed?

The MOZ crawl report for my site shows duplicate content with both www and non-www pages on the site. (Only the www are indexed by Google, however.) Do I still need to use a 301 redirect - even if the non-www are not indexed? Is rel=canonical less preferable, as usual? Facts: the site is built using asp.net the homepage has multiple versions which use 'meta refresh' tags to point to 'default.asp'. most links already point to www Current Strategy: set the preferred domain to 'www' in Google's Webmaster Tools. set the Wordpress blog (which sits in a /blog subdirectory) with rel="canonical" to point to the www version. Ask programmer to add 301 redirects from the non-www pages to the www pages. Ask programmer to use 301 redirects as opposed to meta refresh tags & point all homepage versions to www.site.org. Does this strategy make the most sense? (Especially considering the non-indexed but existent non-www pages.) Thanks!!

Good morning everyone, I have just run a test from SEOmoz PRO tool and I got more than 2,000 double content errors. How might I see which are the 2 pages whose content is double? In my crawl diagnostics, there are links to duplicate content. How can I track down where these links originated in?

How can I find out how SEOMOz found these links to begin with? That would help fix the issue. Where's the source page where the link was first encountered listed at?

Need to find all pages that link to list of pages/pdf's

I know I can do this in OSE page by page, but is there a way I can do this in a large batch? There are 200+ PDF's that I need to figure out what pages (if any) link to the PDF. I'd rather not do this page by page, but rather copy-paste the entire list of pages I'm looking for. Any tools you know of that can do this?

Duplicate page content due to Sort By dropdown

Hi there, I have over 150 Duplicate Page Title errors showing up in SEOMoz but on closer inspection these are related to the 'Sort By:' functionality on our ecommerce site that allows customers to sort our products by Price, Alphabetically etc. To give an example: http://www.parklanechampagne.co.uk/park-lane-champagne/special-occasions/easter Is showing as being duplicated by this page: http://www.parklanechampagne.co.uk/park-lane-champagne/special-occasions/easter?productlisting_page=1&sortorder=Price Does anyone know how I can resolve this? How do I find the corresponding duplicate content pages from my SEOmoz report?

Once I have run my report and the duplicate content pages come up, is there a way to find out which pages have the duplicate content on them? I have one URL but where can I find the duplicate content that corresponds to it? Thanks Barry
