Is this site linking to us?
-
Hi,
Moz OSE does not recognize this site as linking to our site, but I feel like it has to be. Here is the code and the link to the site:
http://www.avvo.com/attorneys/34655-fl-stacy-kemp-1843513.html#contact
[https://kemprugegreen.com/location/tampa/tampa-car-auto-accident-attorney/](<a class=)" target="_blank">https://kemprugegreen.com/location/tampa/tampa-car-auto-accident-attorney/
So are they linking to us? If so, how come OSE cant find it? It lists it for our competitors.
Thanks,
Ruben

Okay, thanks guys. I really couldn't seem to find it, when I was going through it.
I appreciate it.

Just an educated guess on my part but I'd say that it's probably due to the indexing problems of late.
First, this index still contains data crawled up to 100 days ago.We try to make sure that what we've crawled recently is stuff that we believe has been updated/changed, but there may be sites and pages that have changed significantly in that period that we didn't update (due to issues I've described here previously with our crawlers & schedulers).
It's clear that Avvo is being crawled and indexed. You have a link on this page that shows up in OSE already

Unsolved learning about links...
Hello! I'm wanting to gain some insight about backlinks, and wondering why a client's digital ads don't count towards our external link count. We don't see the domain listed in the Linking Domains and were just curious. Any information would be appreciated as we're always trying to learn! Thanks!

Why is Link Explorer showing the same domain strength for domain and sub-domain? Shouldn't it be different?
I believe in the past the sub-domain score was different than the domain score in Link Explorer. Now I am seeing that it is reporting the same score. I have to use exact page to get a sense of how strong the sub-domain is.

How can I tell what pages have links TO this page?
Hello, Mozzers! My client has a rather messy situation, with redirects for HTTP vs. HTTPS, and two different home pages, both in subdirectories. I could explain the whole setup, but I don't think it's relevant for my question, which is this: OSE is showing three links to the page in question, but doesn't tell me WHAT those links are. Am I just missing the information somewhere? Please see screenshot for details. Thanks so much! ~ Scott view?usp=sharing

How does spammy linked site have zero spam score?
I came across a law firm site with hundreds of horrible spam links to it. Of the 3330 links, all but 231 links have anchor text that has to do with "jordan 11s for sale". I'm trying to see how useful the moz spam score is, but clearly it's not reliable if this site has a score of zero. Many of the obviously spammy sites linking to it also have low to zero spam scores, although there are plenty in the 5-10 range. (see attached image). I also noticed that many sites were legit sites, but if you look at the source code, there's tons of hidden spam links in the code (e.g., www.chickasawgardens.net) Why would this site have a zero spam score? If you're curious, put it into open site explorer and have a look. It's a law firm based in Pennsylvania, most anchor text has to do with jordan sneakers and most links are foreign: penn-criminallawyers.com Is the spam score too lenient? Is the moz tool unable to find spam links coming from legitimate sites with hidden spam links? DrokMbP

External link numbers down year on year
Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows why a website that has definitely had some links acquired over the last year would now show less links and from fewer referring domains than they had this time last year? How is that possible - assume it is down to the way OSE / Moz crawl the web and collect data but need a definitive explanation for a client that has noticed the drop in link metrics and as a result authority. Many thanks,
