All of a sudden a number of my key pages are getting 403 errors with Moz?
-
One of my squarespace sites has suddenly thrown up a number of 403 access denied errors for a range of pages on the site, according to the Moz weekly report. There is no access issues for these pages and nothing has been changes wrt url, etc..... so why the errors (which I am not seeing through SEM rush for example)?
Thx, Phil

Is there a reason for SquareSpace to do this? We have a number of small sites on SquareSpace and are experiencing this same issue.

Apparently there is an issue with squarepace - blocking access for mozbot.
Check also this link https://moz.com/community/q/on-page-grader-not-working-with-squarespace - Moz is working on it but are not sure if/when this will be solved:
"We are working with them to find a resolution to this block, but I am afraid that I am not certain if or when this will be resolved."

Moz claims we have meta noindex but we don't
Hi, I'm encountering an issue where moz scan says we have meta noindex, but I have confirmed across several of our pages that this simply isn't true. I have confirmation that the below tag is present: name="robots" content="index, follow" /> I also verified our https header through https://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php and see nothing indicating that we are sending any no index headers. Why would the crawler report this when it doesn't seem to be the case? Let me know if I need to provide more information.

H1 Errors and False Positives
Since the inception of our new website back in 2018, we have had no H1 issues, but now, we are popping positive for H1 errors. As seen in the attached image, we have H1 tags, but it doesnt seem that your crawlers are identifying them now. Is there a reason for its? qYbGp6P.jpg

URLS appearing twice in Moz crawl
I have asked this question before and got a Moz response to which i replied but no reply after that. Hi, We have noticed in our moz crawl that urls are appearing twice so urls like this - http://www.recyclingbins.co.uk/about/ www.recyclingbins.co.uk/about/ Thought it may be possible rel=canonical issue as can find URL's but no linking URL's to the pages. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you Jon I did the crawl test and they were not there

MOZ Onpage grade and Google ranking.
I have found for years that there is not necessarily any connection between the onpage given by Moz and the SEO ranking. "F" page can be #1 in Google for long periods of time, and "A" pages can be unranked. I do not see the consistency, so I am unsure how much time to spend optimizing as suggested. I know there are many factors in rankings, but I just wanted to point out that this lack of consistency makes me hesitate to make changes to well-ranking pages -- especially with algorithm changes happening all the time. It seems that everything is considered over-optimization of late, even if it is all natural language. It is hard to NOT use words or synonyms sometimes on pages, for example... Thank you for your great product. I just want to know how my time to spend on this matter or turn my attention to off-page factors where the inconsistency is hard to figure out.

How can the Moz Page Grader support a 'keyword portfolio' approach?
I used to use the Page Grader tools to support the old philosophy of one page - one keyword. With more focus now being given to a portfolio of keywords around a topic area - what would be a good approach to using the page grader tool? Obviously getting A's and B's is impossible for multiple keywords. The only way i've seen suggested in moz tools to help with keyword portfolios is to use labels in the ranking measurement and then find averages of the results. Are there other strategies that I can try?

Why isn't seo moz properly crawling my site?
In my campaign results, only 2 pages have been crawled, when there are many more. Also, when I do the on-page evaluation for my homepage and the main keyword, I get a grade of F, with a ton of errors that my page actually does not have. It's as if SEO moz is having trouble crawling through my site. Any ideas on this?
