How to make the most of our data, charts and graphs online?

Hi,
Our business has an enormous amount of data at our disposal, which we have traditionally only ever printed in our offline publications.
I am aware however that much of this information would be of great use to people searching for the topics we cover online, so it strikes me that there must be a way to represent our data, tables and graphs online to maximise the visibility of the information.
For example rather than simply including an image of a graph on a web page and editing the alt text to something like "Saudi Arabia economic growth 1995-2016", is there a way to publish this data online that will give search engines and users some good contextual information about what we are trying to show?
Would certain rich snippets for example do the trick?
Any help or pointers that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are actually already doing (or plan to do) each of the 4 points you suggested in your post. So good to see we are on the right track!
However my question was more about how we should technically place the charts/graphs on our website from an SEO perspective.
For example one option would be just to post an image of a graph on the website and add:
alt = Graph showing Economic Growth in Dubai over the past 10 years
Title = Graph showing Economic Growth in Dubai over the past 10 yearsBut I'm wondering if there are some more tricks to effectively tell Google that the image we have posted contains actual information? For example are their some appropriate rich snippets we can add to the page to tell Google what type of content we are displaying?
I know there are snippets for displaying addresses and cotnact details, for example.

There are a lot of options, and some of them take wonderful advantage of having access to a payload of data as you do:
- Blog about it! A blog that's well-written, informative, and has easy-to-consume hard data is always a plus. Especially if you create simple visuals, and provide overviews and insights into that data.
- Create infographics. While these can (and should) be part of the blogging experience mentioned above, even if you just post infographics that break down that data well on social media, it can be a big boost in engagement.
- Try to work with other media groups, bloggers, etc. to get exposure and bring that data to a larger net of people. There are so many avenues for content creation, and depending on what field your data is in, could be used in so many ways.
- Create either digital versions of your publications, or at the very least, white papers, case studies, and press releases.
The options you have are honestly only limited to your time, resources, and ability to represent that data simply and effectively. Don't let it go to waste!

Schema for Knowledge Graph Card
Hello, all! I have a client who's Fortune 500 - has all the good "stuff" that is associated with pulling in proper info into the knowledge graph/company information box - Wikipedia, strong citations, etc., but the card is showing the wrong company type! Will Amazon outrank our Online Store?
We're looking to add our products on Amazon to expend our reach of customers, but one question that I can't answer for sure is, will the Amazon product page outrank our online store's product page? I'm thinking that if we re-write the description and re-arrange the product name that we'll be fine but I'd like your guys’ opinion on this. Extra Info: Product that we're selling aren't listed on amazon, we're the only one selling these. So we might be shooting ourselves in the foot by trying to sell on Amazon since no one else is selling that product. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Can an "Event" in Structured Data For Google Be A Webinar?
I have a client who is has structured data for live business webinars. Google's documentation seems to talk more about music and tickets than this kind of thing. At the same time, we get an error in search console for "Name" and location, which they list as "webinar." Should I removed this failed structured data attempt or is there a way to fix it? Thanks!

Software assisted meta data
I was recently contacted by an SEO firm that did a search on my site and said it had a low index. Out of 5,000+ pages only 800 keywords was ranking. They said there is much improvement for adjusting my meta data for indexing. They said there is a software that does this for you. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does this sound true what they are explaining? What is this software and how much does it cost? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Knowledge Graph Quick Answer Box: Is there anything we can do to get our content to appear there?
Hi everyone, The quick answers box can be really helpful for searchers by pulling through content which answers their question or provides a clear description of an item or entity. Our client appeared in the quick answer box for a period of time with their description of a product, but have since been replaced by one of their competitors. Previously, the answer was provided by Wikipedia. Is there anything we can do to help get our client's content back in there? We've been looking at possible structured data we can use but haven't found anything. Also suggesting our client ensures they have a paragraph within their copy which is a clear, concise description of the product that Google can pull. Can anyone give any suggestions? Thanks Laura

Should I delete 'data hightlighter' mark-up in webmaster tools after added schema.org mark-up?
LEDSupply.com is my site, and before becoming familiar with schema mark-up I used the 'data-highlighter' in webmaster tools to mark-up as much of the site as I could. Now that Schema is set-up I'm wondering if having both active is bad and am thinking I should delete the previous work with the 'data highlighter' tool. To delete or not to delete? Thank you!

How do you make short tail keyword determinations when combined with long tail when there is not enough search volume to provide info
Confusing question, allow me to elaborate We have a few pages that target a particular doctor for example. One of those pages is about his backround. His short tail is his name "Dr Irving Weiss" for example, low competition of course and already too low of search volume to show in Google keywords tool (which i know isn't the best tool) so now one of his tab pages addresses info on his medical background (credentials, schools, awards, sanctions) if you search for those single keywords alone you get something like this hospitals 74,000 background 673,000 credentials 49,000 but that doesn't necessarily mean more people will search like "dr irving weiss background" than they will "dr irving weiss credentials" just because background has more searches "dr irving weiss background" and "dr irving weiss credentials are way too low search volume to have any data on, so how can you come to a proper keyword targeting conclusion when the data is not there? THANKS IN ADVANCE for any insight!
