Would you consider this title to be keyword stuffing or bad?
-
A competitor uses the following format for all of their meta titles:
[Store Name] Voucher Codes, Cashback & Discount Codes | [Website Name]
They do vary their titles slightly, depending on which keywords are searched for, for the particular store.
What do you think about this title? I'm torn between it looking a little 'stuffy' but them also getting across the point that their page offers all of that.
-
I wouldn't consider it keyword stuffing, reads pretty naturally, but it also looks like the same thing everyone else does... how would that stand out in these SERPs? What would make someone click yours over someone else's on this ultra dull list? Literally no one stands out.

Hi Vick,
To be sure I understand it correctly, the titles look like this
Olive Garden Voucher Codes, Cashback & Discount Codes | ThisSite.com
Walmart Voucher Codes, Cashback & Discount Codes | ThisSite.com
BestBuy Voucher Codes, Cashback & Discount Codes | ThisSite.comIn such case that makes perfect sense to me.
Title 1 would be going for keywords like:- Olive Garden Voucher Codes
- Olive Garden Cashback
- Olive Garden Discount Codes
And depending on the [sites name] they could actually have more keyword combos using this method.
Your concern is valid, and this site may have an issue if they were just trying to target broader keywords like "Voucher Codes" & "Discount Codes". Since those keywords have a broader scope, and they are repeated on many pages search engines may have a trouble assigning a certain page to those search terms. However, those keywords while broader may have less search volume then the targeted keywords.
My thoughts,
Don

No, it seems fine to me, tells me what you are up to - keyword stuffing is more along the lines of:
Dress, Best Dresses, White Dresses, Green Dresses | Dress Shop
Which believe it not people still do...
-
It certainly displays what they do. It isn't key word stuffing either. Personally, I would prefer it to look like...
Voucher Codes | Cash-back | Discount Codes - [Website Name]
Just personal preference. Does yours need the store name as well?

On Page Optimization, F on all keywords?
On our website we have all F's even though we have the targeted keyword in the title, url, meta desc, h1, body and some of the img alt's. They still show zero uses of the keyword. Are we missing something here or is this some kind of bug or glitch? Any help or advice is appreciated, Thanks. Title tag terminology on website
Hi,
On-Page Optimization | | KasperGJ
I own a website (www.maleribasen.dk), which i'm currently making SEO on. The site actually ranks pretty good, top 1-2 on important searches. The title tag on the frontpage (and lots of other pages too) are "Maleribasen.dk - Buy and sell paintings" (translatated from danish - Maleri means painting). I'm thinking of changing the titles to "Buy and sell paintings | Maleribasen.dk" And then try to use the convention "| Maleribasen.dk" on every other title page. Sometimes use "Buy and sell paintings | Maleribasen.dk" as convention when title is too small. Like the overview of articles would be something like "Articles - Buy and sell paintings | Maleribasen.dk" A specific article would be "How to paint using oil painting | Maleribasen.dk" What do you guys think?0 -
Keyword distribution in the whole site
I've been taught during a SEO course that the whole site has to contain the chosen keywords with a fixed proportion of optimized pages, that should be like this: 50% of pages optimized on the most relevant keyword (just one keyword) 25% of pages optimized on secondary kewords (depending on the size of the site, could be a few pages for each secondary keywords) 25% of pages on long tail keywords. the teachers was a very respected SEO professional, but I've never seen this strategy anywhere in other articles or SEO guides. what do you think about it?

Keyword Repetition in Title Tag
I am managing an online pharmacy website which has thousands of pages. I'm creating title tags for the pages that currently have automated tags.
On-Page Optimization | | pulseseo
I generally choose a word, find the next best alternative and merge them in the title.
Often this results in repetition of 2-3 words. Examples below:-
Title:- Skincare Treatment, Buy Skincare Products Discounted at Online Pharmacy Title:- Nebulisers, Buy Nebulisers UK Discounted at Online Pharmacy Title:- Electronic Dictionaries, Buy Best Electronic Dictionaries Discounted at Online Pharmacy Title:- Cat Skin Care, Buy Cat Skin Care Products Discounted at Online Pharmacy Are these OK or would Google penalize us for it?0 -
Home Page Keyword Retargeting
Hi Guys! I have a question regarding the risk of **re-targeting **your homepage to another **keyword. ** To give a little background: I am working on a clients site that targets a keyword we initially thought during the keyword research phase, would be an appropriate target. What we found out is that it is not. Everything in analytics points to this keyword not performing well. We now want to re target the homepage to another keyword target. My questions are: How risky is it to do this given we have already done a fair amount of link building to the home page with anchor text from the initial keyword target? Will this look suspicious to google? What sort of things should we consider before moving forward with this change?

Recommendation of second target keyword
Hi there, Our company is selling airline tickets and more products within the travelling market like car rental, hotels and holidays. Now we are busy to improve our google ranking because the market of airplaine tickets is hard with many competitors. At this moment we are optimizing our offer pages. Our Strategy: 2 Keyword focus on that specific page
On-Page Optimization | | vliegticketsnl
1. Vliegtickets + Destination
2. Vliegticket, ticket or tickets + Destination Both keywords will be in the title tag. Example: vliegtickets + destination - brandname - vliegticket, ticket or tickets + destination h1 = Vliegtickets + Destination
h2 = Vliegticket, ticket or tickets + Destination Now we know that there is a big search volume on the keywords "goedkope vliegtickets" and we do not focus on these words on the offer pages of a destination. Goedkope vliegtickets could be translate like cheap airplane tickets. At the homepage of our offers we are focussing on goedkope vliegtickets, is it wise to continue doing that at the other pages also, instead of vliegticket, ticket, tickets + destination. Will goedkope vliegtickets + destination make the keyword combination vliegtickets + destination more strong and could it improve our google ranking? Or should we keep it like we do now, because vliegticket, ticket or tickets + destination is familiar to vliegtickets + destination? Hope to hear your opinion so we could decide what to do with our onpage strategy. Next thing to do than is linkbuilding. Thank you in advance.0
