Depending on the business strategy, you may think to to create specific versions of the site targeting those countries.
This solution, though, apart needing a more sophisticated use of international SEO techniques like the Hreflang mark up, also will need a stronger investment in term of single site's promotion (link building, digital PR, localized content marketing...).
A better solution in the short term can be to use only one "English Global Site", which targets all those countries at once, but trying to earn trust, relevance and visibility also in the "foreign" markets thanks to campaigns targeting also sites/influencers in those countries.
Once you start having a meaningful set of data, so to understand how your site is responding in the several countries you are targeting, and if you see that - for instance - Australia is offering good traffic and conversion metrics, then you can start thinking in creating a specific Australian version of your site.

Hi there
There are quite a few things you can do. I would take a look at these resources below:
- International SEO (Moz)
- The International SEO Checklist (Moz)
- Use hreflang for language and regional URLs (Google)
You could also look into any certifications, partnerships, and contributor opportunities for your friend to take advantage of in these locations, as that will help build audience awareness in those locations. I would also take a look at social advertising and paid search - there is a lot of behavioral and demographic targeting capabilities in those areas and depending on the content your friend is developing, can be very helpful in building an audience.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Content very similar on different websites
Hello, I am in the travel industry and I am currently building the same website (different domain names), one for the US and one for the UK (same website design). They will both features the same content (itinerary, activities) on the page with 2 exception, the 1 st one is that I will use different hotels for my uk clientele and for my US clientele and on the UK page I will use the word "holiday" in the UK and the word "vacation" in the US. Can the fact that I do the same "itineraries" and use the same text on 95 % of the page hurt my ranking in one country or another ?

Is it OK to dynamically serve different content to paid and non-paid traffic from the same URL?
Hi Moz! We're trying to serve different content to paid and non-paid visitors from the same URL. Is this black hat? Here's the reason we want to do this -- we're testing a theory that paid ads boost organic rankings. This is something we saw happen to a client and we want to test this further. But we have to have a different UX that's more sparse and converts better for paid. Thanks for reading!

Two sites with same content in different countries. How does it effect SEO?
Lets say for example that we have to sites, example.com and example.co.uk. The sites has the same content in the same language. Can the sites rank well in its own country? Of course all content could be rewritten, but that is very time consuming. Any suggestions? Has anyone did this before or now a site which has?

Company Blog at a different URL
Ok, I have been doing a lot of work over the past 6 months, disavowing low quality links from spammy directories to our company website, etc. However, my efforts seem to have had a negative, not positive effect. This has brought me back to reconsidering what we are doing as we have lost a good amount of traction on the nationwide Google rankings specifically. Considering our company blog - platinumcctv(dot)net - we have used this blog for a long time to inform customers of new products, software developments and then to provide them links to purchase those components. Last week, I revamped the nearly default wordpress theme to another on a piece of advice. However, someone told me that all of our links should be nofollow, even though it is a company blog because we have many links coming from this domain, and it could be found as spammy. Potato/Potato - But before I start the tedious task of changing every link to no follow on a whim, i searched a lot, but have found no CLEAR substantiation of this. Any ideas? Other recommendations appreciated as well! Platinum-CCTV(dot)com

Submitting sitemaps every 7 days
Question, if you had a site with more than 10 million pages (that you wanted indexed) and you considered each page to be equal in value how would you submit sitemaps to Google? Would you submit them all at once: 200 sitemaps 50K each in a sitemap index? Or Would you submit them slowly? For example, would it be a good idea to submit 300,000 at a time (in 6 sitemaps 50k each). Leave those those 6 sitemaps available for Google to crawl for 7 days then delete them and add 6 more with 300,000 new links? Then repeat this process until Google has crawled all the links? If you implemented this process you would never at one time have more than 300,000 links available for Google to crawl in sitemaps. I read somewhere that eBay does something like this, it could be bogus info though. Thanks David

Why do SERP Results ( Rankings ) differ from country to country ?
Hi, I have been doing seo for this client based in Sri lanka for almost 8 months now. Since we started SEO we had set up geographic target setting to UK through google webmaster tools. At the moment Site is completely ranking higher on google uk & other countries except Sri Lanka . On Google.lk site doesn't even come within 1st 5 pages for keywords which are ranked on1st page in other countries ? What do you think about this ? How does it happen ?
