Titles and Metas disappeared?? Help please!
-
Hi everyone,
Had a bit of a concern today, my weekly report has come through and my crawl issues have skyrockets by over 400!
It says my metas and titles are missing but when I check through the site manually they seem to all still be there, I'm getting the same problem when I use screaming frog to crawl the site.
I would really appreciate an explanation from someone as to why this is happening as I am quite confused about the situation.
Thank you people
Charlie

Thank you so so much both of you it's saved me a massive headache. I had to close the script twice as there were two instances where the script tags were open and not shown.
Ran the site through screaming frog and the Titles/Metas are showing up again.
II have voted both of you up

I agree with Alick300, after looking at your source code it looks like your //www.gstatic.com/wcm/loader.js script is not closed properly and thus in effect the meta is not being found in the normal html flow. I would suggest checking your wordpress header.php file to see if there is an issue in the code that you can close off, alternatively if it is a problem plugin, maybe update or deactivate.
Cheers
Tim

Hi Charlie,
I checked view source and I find very unusual thing. Your title and description tag is b/w <script type="<a class="attribute-value">text/javascript</a>"> and that is the reason .
Meta title is an html tag & description also, not Java script
You have to close Javascript tag properly I think that is the only issue.
Hope this helps
Thanks

Are keywords in the title tag becoming redundant?
I've noticed that lot's of the world's leading digital agencies are not using keywords in their titles. Eg AKQA, DigitasLBi, POKE, SYZYGY etc. Why is that? Are keywords no longer that important? This can't be accidental seeing as it's the case for so many leading agencies.

How should be a perfect SEO Title, Description, H1 and H2?
Hello friends, i have a very good question. In a website of coupon codes, how should be a perfect Title, Description, H1 and H2? For example: If our main keyword is "Promo codes Amazon" but we we want to get good results with "Coupon codes Amazon", "Discounts Amazon" and "Coupons Amazon", how should be a perfect SEO? In some sites, people we use some tactics like month or year in title and descriptions or number of coupons and offers. Thanks so much.

Duplicated Meta Descriptions on Dynamic Paginated Pages
If the title didn't put you off please read on! 🙂 According to our latest Moz Crawl Report we have circa 700 instances of duplicate Meta Description on pages that are both dynamically created and also paginated, however, I believe that number to be greater! We are unable to manual make changes to these pages (because they are dynamic) and so we need ask our web devs to create a change in how the Meta is created... If I am not making myself clear (and there is a good chance that I'm not!) then here is an example of what I mean; http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/cruise-deals/silversea-cruise-deals/ There are 92 pages of cruise deals for this particular operator with the results of each page having the option to sort by 4 categories; Recommended Cruise Price Sail Date Best Value 4 x 92 = 368 instances just for this one operator! The current Meta Desc is; A selection of the best Silversea cruise deals taking in over 800 destinations across all 7 continents. ...which isn't great I know! The problem is how to make each page (in each category) unique If any of you have incurred anything similar and have any kind of solution or recommendation then please respond - I would be most grateful! Andy

Exact match Title and H1 tags, and over optimization
Hi Mozzers - was just wondering whether matching H1 and Title tags are still OK, or whether there's an over optimization risk if they exact match?

Google changing the meta title for the homepage causing branding issues
A client of mine." Ross X Bute" current meta title is "Luxury designer clothing | Womens designer clothing" for the homepage. If i search for luxury designer clothing it will show the full meta title for the homepage. however if i search for the brand name.... "Ross & Bute" will show instead of the meta title. Whats the problem? Well my client a few month ago has decided to re brand the business to have a "X" to show instead of the "And". The rest of the site is branded with an "X" rather than "And" The URL www.rossandbute.com, so you can understand where google is getting this assumption from. Is there anyway to change this so it reads the the meta title in the SERPs? Thanks

Title tags not displaying correctly?
If I have a title tag with 28 words (around 90 letters) with some repetition and Google has decided not to use this in the SERPS is this a bad thing (basically saying the title tag is not liked by Google).
