I'd like to add some more to the list:
- Keyword Eye
- Keyword Spy
- SEM Rush
They have free and paid versions for the tools above however the free versions also provide good data.

1. Google Adword Keywords suggest
2. Google Trends
3. Google Insight
4. Keyword discovery
5. Word Pot

Ignore keywords that have no data in the Google Keyword Tool?

Hello, There are some keywords that have no monthly search data in the Google Keyword Tool. In many cases, this is because there have been very few searches for the keyword. Would you recommend focusing on other keywords that do have search data in the Google Keyword Tool? Perhaps focusing too far out on the long tail of search results can be less productive than focusing on keywords that have proven that at least some people care about them. What do you think? Thanks!

Newbie question about keyword difficulty tool

Hi guys, It's my first day here ate seomoz and I got intrigued about the results from the keyword difficulty tool. Even though I do understand the results, I noticed the ranking analysis table has some highlighted cells and some of them have a dark checkmark sign inside. What exactly do they mean? Refining Keyword Research

I am looking to refine my Keyword research process. Currently I use 4 keyword tools to get volume, competition and of course other ideas. From there I try to distill it down to categories and then order on ability to drive traffic and convert. Anyone have something they can share maybe from the excel side, maybe from the tool side... something to help me make this easy and great.
