Question about Unpredictability with the Knowledge panel showing up for the same search
-
The people in my client's office get different results when they search for their company name in Google. For example one person ALWAYS gets the right rail knowledge panel with full details about the company while her boss NEVER sees it.
They are both on desktop search.

Hi: Thanks for your response.
I am not sure that has anything to do with it because both people are searching for the company name. One person, the person sitting in the office where the headquarters is located sees the knowledge panel, while the other person, sitting in another city does not.
This happens all the time - where one person sees it and the other person does not - for the same phrase.

There is also a possibility like Google is testing the knowledge graph against a particular search result to see how people react to it. If it will be useful, Google might display it to more and more users searching for the brand name and if not they might remove the GK where its appearing at the moment.
User’s history can be one of the factor, I am not sure but one thing is definite, there is nothing you should worry about and there is no guarantee that it will be permanent against the search name or not.
Just a thought!

This is down to the way Google search works, but there seems to have been an increase recently on this sort of thing. It is mostly about Google trying to identify the best results for the best user, results are getting increasingly dynamic.
I don't believe it's anything to worry about, if you clear the cache on the different PCs the chances are you will find the results will even out and be reading about the same each time, there will normally vary slightly anyway.
The alternative is to use an online checker.
P.S. Make sure you are logged out of Google also prior to clearing the cache.
Trust that helps.
All the best.

Old site name showing in SERPs
Hi all, We've recently re-launched one of our sites with a substantial redesign, refreshed content, meta data, descriptions and functionality. We noticed in SERPs that some of the page titles are showing the old name for the site, which hasn't been used for a few years and the site's been through a few updates and a URL change since then. All the meta titles showing up as they should in crawls through Search Console and Moz and it's my understanding that if Google were pulling a cached version of a title it would have gone for a more recently cached one? Any thoughts on why Google's turned back the clock on our site's name would be greatly appreciated! -Jamie

Web page is showing up on Google but doesn't show when it was cached, so is it indexed?
Hey everyone So I created a new page on a WordPress website, it was live for a few hours till I changed my mind & switched it back to a draft. Just out of curiosity I did the Site:www.example.com/Example search on Google to see if it had been indexed & apparently it had but when I click on cached to see what time it got indexed at exactly it's showing me an error. So does this mean it is indexed or not?

Search/Search Results Page & Duplicate Content
If you have a page whose only purpose is to allow searches and the search results can be generated by any keyword entered, should all those search result urls be no index or rel canonical? Thanks.
