Recommended Rich Schema for B2B?
-
Hey Guys,
I normally set up Rich Schema for ecommerce, but wondering your thoughts on rich schema for B2B, specifically a consulting firm. I was thinking:
- address
- hours open
- events
We have pages for services, a testimonial page, a page with all the partners, contact us, blog posts.
Any thoughts on this?

Just to add on, you'll find some b2b sites have "reviews" and this can also be used for schema! Helpful for social proof but not always a guarantee to work for Google but useful to have coded.

Howdy.
I typically set it up with accordance to this: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/enhance-site
And basically go down the list. So, logo, contact info, breadcrumbs, reviews, sitelinks, social etc. Just follow all the suggestions under "help google present you" section in the left navigation column.
Hope this helps

Should I even do product page schema?
If I have no reviews/ratings on the page itself and special/limited time offers and just a regular product page with a standard price, is there any ability to do product schema with it getting flagged for errors? Google's Structured Markup Testing Tool threw me an error when I test it without any of those: | One of offers or review or aggregateRating should be provided. | And even if it's possible, is there any point?

Productontology URLs are 404 erroring, are there alternatives to denote new schema categories?
Our team QA specialist recently noticing that the class identifier URLs via productontology are 404ing out saying that the "There is no Wikipedia article for (particular property)". They are even 404ing for productontology URLs that are examples on the productontology.com website! Example: http://www.productontology.org/id/Apple The 404 page says that the wiki entry for "Apple" doesn't exist (lol) Does anybody know what is going on with this website? This service was extremely helpful for creating additionalType categories for schema categories that don't exist on schema.org. Are there any alternatives to productontology now that these class identifier URLs are 404ing? Thanks

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2ra6cdb5w609o8d/Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 2.46.12 pm.png?dl=0 1-Is there a chance Google will include these reviews as it doesn't have a way of checking if they are real? They are in this case so that's why would be great to include them. 2- the stars don't seem to be in html, how can we mark the stars to be indexed by google? I want to include this schema
https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/reviews#aggregate_ratings I don't think we would be able to full-fill these items, what do you think? <code>spanvocab="http://schema.org/"typeof="Review"> <span< span="">property="itemReviewed"typeof="Thing"> <span< span="">property="name">Super Book This is not a boook is a service, what should I put here?</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="author"typeof="Person"> <span< span="">property="name">Joe</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="reviewRating"typeof="Rating"> Rating: <span< span="">property="ratingValue">7</span<> out of <span< span="">property="bestRating">10</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="publisher"typeof="Organization"> Whato this property means? Reviews are made by customers not organizations. <meta< span="">property="name"content="Washington Times"> same as abobe, they are not publishers.</meta<></span<></code> If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. B2B site targeting 20,000 companies with 20,000 dedicated "target company pages" on own website.
An energy company I'm working with has decided to target 20,000 odd companies on their own b2b website, by producing a new dedicated page per target company on their website - each page including unique copy and a sales proposition (20,000 odd new pages to optimize! Yikes!). I've never come across such an approach before... what might be the SEO pitfalls (other than that's a helluva number of pages to optimize!). Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Google crawled my rich snippet pages and then excluded them
Hi guysWe have added schema.org mark up a few months ago and it all looked well and showed up then suddenly last month all the crawled pages disappeared from Webmaster tools Structured data (see the screenshot attached). This happened to another site of mine and I cannot figure out what causes it. Nothing has been changed on the pages and you can see by yourself in the HTML code. Any ideas to why this might happened this way?wenR89I.png?1
