Forwarding a domain seems to be creating 10,720 backlinks according to majestic?

I have a site toptwincitiesrealtors.com that points to my main site mnpropertygroup.com when I look up my backlinks on majestic it says I have 10,720 coming from this toptwincitiesrealtors.com site. should I stop pointing that site? I have a low trust flow but high citation flow on my mnpropertygroup.com site and a 0 trust flow and 5 citation flow on my toptwincitiesrealtors.com site

If toptwincitiesrealtors.com has a good authority/backlink profile, it will help mnpropertygroup.com rank.
If toptwincitiesrealtors.com is penalized, it may pass along that penalty.

That is what I would guess is happening, I believe the same happens in Google Search Console when you do the same thing.

Looks like you are redirecting toptwincitiesrealtors.com to your main site. This would pass along all backlinks to the main site. (Either that, or majestic is counting each redirected page on the old toptwincitiesrealtors.com site as a backlink).
In either case, where does toptwincitiesrealtors.com get its backlinks from? If its from other quality, niche relevant sites, having it redirect is fine.

Why my domain authority is dropping
Hi, I think I've been doing every right here. I just got a lot of nice backlinks from relevant sites ( pr 5 and higher), I also have been doing guest blogging for weeks. But suddenly, my domain authority dropped from 35 to 33. Traffic from searches also dropped a little bit. I didnt do anything blackhat yet so I dont know what is the reason why this happen. I update my site regularly, get more and more natural backlinks, do guest blogging. Or perhaps it was because I give links to my friends' affiliate sites and got penalized?

Purchasing local domains for SEO
Hi, I'm considering buying domains to help build our SEO traffic. But, I'm looking for some advice on whether or not this can hurt us. For example, if our site is www.brandname.com and the site is all about online education, would it beneficial for us to purchase a local domain like education.boston.com and optimize with unique content so we can point back to our own site (if "education boston" is a high volume keyword)? Outsourced Backlinking?
Hello, I've been newly hired to head up a decent sized company's digital marketing initiatives. Between social media campaigns, web content development, ppc management, etc. I've been a bit overwhelmed. It looks like until my team gets a bit larger we may have to outsource link building, but with the new penguin update I'm worried about choosing the wrong company and ending up with a ton of spam links that gets us nailed. Building backlinks
Hello all! We regularly create articles for clients and post them (along with links to their Websites) on their blogs. We then promote the blog article across social media and other networks to create backlinks / authority for the articles. My question is whether anyone has had any success with an automated submission tool for the articles that delivers good results to "many" directories, social Websites and so on.
