Keywords and stop words

Hello,
I'm trying to rank my page for this keyword:
"Rehab Royal Oak Michigan"
But when you use that in a sentence, it just doesn't work. To make it grammatically correct I need to use "Rehab in Royal Oak Michigan" But now i'm using a stop word and i'm not sure if this counts it as a synonym or not - can someone help?

Thank you! Removing the general grammar and proper spelling made the paragraph sound incorrect and although I wasn't hitting the keyword spot on, I don't want to leave it that way. This will help me with some of these same types of problems on other pages. Thanks!

Write using the same words and style as your audience.
If you have an audience who wears suits, coveralls, flip-flops or cowboy hats, they will immediately know if you are using the wrong language. A lot of people send me "guest articles" and in two sentences I can tell if they are wearing the same type of clothes as my audience.

It makes sense semantically and search engines (particularly Google) are able to understand language better than most people think. Go ahead and add "in", and furthermore if Royal Oak is a city, use proper grammar and add the comma before the state. It's not going to be a problem to add it, but it may be a problem for you to have poor grammar on your site as proper spelling and grammar is actually a ranking factor.

Top domain(s) not at all showing up for branded keywords

Keyword rankings for new website good in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google?
Hello, This past September I launched a new redesigned website for a client. His old website was a static html site that was many years old and the new website was created using WordPress. With the new design we made sure to use all the proper techniques for SEO. (h1 tages, image names, quality links, page titles, etc.) Plus, all the content is new content written for this site. I've actually launched new sites many times and after a few months usually start seeing keyword ranking improvements from the major search engines. With this particular website I'm seeing improvements in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google. I've used Google Webmaster Tools and made sure my sitemap is being submitted, etc. It all seems good, but I can't understand why Yahoo and Bing are working but nothing from Google. My page grades are all A's and B's and Moz isn't showing any big issues. Maybe I need to give it more time? This client is a lawyer and has many websites out there so maybe he's being penalized somewhere I don't know? As I mentioned, I've been doing SEO for about 8 years and have never had this much trouble with Google. I was wondering if you can look at the site and see if there are any glaring issues I'm missing. Duplicate Title Tags on Word Press

Why would Google rank a highly irrelevant page in the top 15 especially for a seemingly important keyword?
While searching for "Blog writing service reviews", I found that a web page that's not even optimized for the query is ranking within top 15 search results. Upon checking the source code, I found that the webpage has been optimized for product reviews services. Plus, the website is only 11 months old, got 7 digit Alexa rank and has PR 1. Why would Google rank such a page in top 15?

My keyword ranking suddenly went down in google.
Hi, Need urgently help, one of our website http://www.bannerbuzz.com keywords ranking is down suddenly since 6-11-2012, even we don't have done any changes on the website & we were on top on many keywords. We have done only one change recently is we have moved our website from shared server to dedicated server on last 21st October & we can see some traffic fluctuation after to redirecting from shared server to dedicated server, also website load time has been increase in Google Analytic, so it that reason to get rank down suddenly?, because all keywords has been down. We have also some affiliate sites like bannerbuzz.ca, bannerbuzz.co.uk & bannerbuzz.com.au which design and coding structure is as same as bannerbuzz.com, so is that a problem (Duplication issue)? We have tried to find out the solution for the same, but we didn't get any proper reason to get rank down suddenly. Can it happened due to dedicated server which we have moved recently or Google has changed anything in algorithm? Can we put website in Google reconsideration to know proper reason about the website? Keyword targeting by page, site, or both?
Hi, We recently discovered that a product we sell has a misnomer, and that a ton of people take to Google and use variations of that misnomer while trying to find us. Unfortunately we don't rank in Google for this keyword, and its costing us thousands in lost sales. I've been slowly building the misnomer into the content of our site in hopes that the spiders will pick up on it. It has started to work in the last couple weeks, but we're nowhere near the top (and we are #1 and #2 for most of our other prime keywords.) The site which sells the product is specialized, and only sells this specific product (in different models, but they're all the same product essentially.) With that in mind, I'm trying to figure out the best way to attack a new keyword. I know that normally you would dedicate a specific page (in an eCommerce store probably that product's own page) to employ your SEO tactics. However, because this site specializes in this product and offers different models and information about it I'm confused about the best approach. Does Google take into consideration the entire site a s whole, or are the pages within my site competing against each other for rank?

Keyword Variants - Low conversion rates - Is a site redesign required?
Hi Guys, I'm Chris & i'm a noob to SEO. Thanks for taking the time to read this and for offering your support! It is greatly appreciated! I work for a small family run company called custom designed cables and we manufacture bespoke cable and bespoke retractable cables. I posted a couple of days ago about how to move forward with our site. Our website has been targeting specific keywords and their variants across the relevant pages to somewhat reasonable effect. Since signing up to SEOMOZ, i have been trying to narrow down the keywords that we target per page and also tried to improve the content on the pages with the help of the on page optimisation tool. I have a few questions that i would like somebody to help me with please if it isn't to much trouble. Firstly, for our keywords, there are a lot of variants. For example, we braid cables. Here are some of the variants of this keyword: cable braid, cable braiding, cable screen, cable screening, cable shielding etc etc. The way i have gone in the past has been to try and target all of those keywords on the relevant page. Now, writing content has been the issue as whilst trying to write good informative information, squeezing in all of the keywords has been a problem and more than likely affected the readability of the page. From what i have learnt since i signed up, this is not a good practice and therefore i have tried to narrow it down somewhat yet i don't really want to lose potential customers finding us by only targeting one or two of the keywords. This is a similar situation for most of our keywords on the majority of our pages. What is the best way to approach this? If i was to write a page per keyword, i don't believe that it would look very good as we could end up with over 100 pages with say 5 or 6 of them talking about the same subject which then leads onto the problem of writing good content. It would be difficult to write good content for pretty much the same thing across such a wide number of pages. If this is the solution though then i would more than happily tackle it. What would be the best way to move forward? The next issue that I have is that since i have been modifying the pages with the help of SEOMOZ, the number of enquries that we have received have fell off the charts. We used to average around 50 enquiries a month from the website and since i have modified the site, i'd say we've had probably 20 since the end of February. The funny thing is though, we have also averaged around 200 hits more per month since the changes. So the hits have increased yet the enquiries have died. I was wondering if anybody was willing to take a look at our site: http://www.customdesignedcable.co.uk to give me some general feedback as to why this may be happening and what your overall opinions of the site may be with regards to the layout, look and general feel etc because i am beginning to wonder whether or not the design is what could be causing us to convert so little of our new found visitors. If anyone could also provide me with actionable feedback with regards to our keyword targeting for our pages that would also really really help! I am currently considering re-designing the site in it's entirety and i am interested in your opinions on whether or not this would be a good way to go. How can I use a keyword based domain to rank for my existing site?
Hi everyone, From my understanding if your keywords are in your domain name it can help you rank for the keyword. My site www.pixelchefs.com was affected from the latest Google Algorithm changes, as I used my main site as a testing ground for all my back linking. Our site was a single page with Jquery slide, late February the same time with the Google algo changes we uploaded our new site, larger site with lots of pages and info. Result of that was that home page has PR3 and all other pages PR0. Well I don't really depend on Google for any work as most of my work comes from referrals.......but While searching for names for my private page I came across the domain name www.DesignOrlando.com, The specific keyword gets 22,210 view per month according to Google analytics and also contains part of the keyword for all the keywords I am after. I want to use the domain name for my main site but i am not sure what is the best way to forward the domain so Google can start reading my site as DesignOrlando.com Any Suggestions will be very appreciated.
