What is the best way to get great ranking?
I am a new digital marketing manager and its my first time who works with a programmer who doesn't know. I need to know as soon as possible, because they want to be "on air" tomorrow!

Τhere is a way to understand if it is ok and in Greek language?
On this link -> Can my URLs use non-English words? - Google Webmaster Youtube i think that refers is general.
How can i cross that its ok and with Greek language?
I'm more close to put url names on Greek-lish (= English characters) with Greek meaning, and not in my language.
Thank you very much

There is no difference en SEO terms. If you cant remove them, then leave them as is

Hallo Gaston,
Thanks for 1 and 3!
2. I don't want to removing ".html" because we just setup new site! So the question its if we need .html on url or not? I can not find something like that.
Thank you very much for your answer. It's very helpful!

I am getting lots of error 500 when adding the links
Im trying to add them below hereSome info about that: Can my URLs use non-English words? - Google Webmaster Youtube
John Mueller confirmed it here: Will removing “.html” from my URLs help my site? - Google Webmaster Youtube

Hello Marios
1- There is no problem using language specific words in the URL. Even though it is useful for ranking in that language.
Some info about that: Can my URLs use non-English words? - Google Webmaster Youtube2- There is no SEO difference in adding nor deleting the file extension.
John Mueller confirmed it here: Will removing “.html” from my URLs help my site? - Google Webmaster Youtube3- There is no simple answer to "the best way" to get great rankings. Regarding URLs, I´d suggest to use the keyword focus in the URL.

What is SEO best practice to implement a site logo as an SVG?
What is SEO best practice to implement a site logo as an SVG?
Technical SEO | | twisme
Since it is possible to implement a description for SVGs it seems that it would be possible to use that for the site name. <desc>sitename</desc>
{{ STUFF }} There is also a title tag for SVGs. I’ve read in a thread from 2015 that sometimes it gets confused with the title tag in the header (at least by Moz crawler) which might cause trouble. What is state of the art here? Any experiences and/or case studies with using either method? <title>sitename</title>
{{ STUFF }} However, to me it seems either way that best practice in terms of search engines being able to crawl is to load the SVG and implement a proper alt tag: What is your opinion about this? Thanks in advance.1 -
What's the best way to pass link juice to a page on another domain?
I'm working with a non-profit, and their donation form software forces them to host their donation pages on a different domain. I want to attempt to get their donation page to appear in their sitelinks in Google (under the main website's entry), but it seems like the organization's donation forms are at a disadvantage because they're not actually hosted on that site. I know that no matter what I do, there's no way to "force" a sitelink to appear the way I want it, but... I was trying to think if there's a way I can work around this. Do you think 1) creating a url like orgname.org/donate and having that be a 301 redirect to the donation form, and 2) using the /donate redirect all over the site (instead of linking directly to the form) would help? Are there alternatives other folks recommend?

URL Path to Store Article Library for SEO
What is the best URL structure for a domain to start adding a main directory for educational articles under? We want to find the best URL structure to keep articles under as a main, then category, then subcategory: For example, if my client is going after TWO SPECIFIC KEYWORD PHRASES as their primary (let's say they are KIDNEY DIALYSIS and CKD DIALYSIS, should they start building up their article library (for educational purposes as well as ranking/SEO), should they list it under which structure for the best SEO ranking opportunities: domain.com/KIDNEY-DIALYSIS/article1, article2, article3 domain.com/CKD-DIALYSIS/article1, article2, article3 domain.com/ARTICLES/article1, article2, article3 Both KIDNEY DIALYSIS and CKD DIALYSIS are critical phrases for them. Is it a waste of URL space to just have a home of domain.com/ARTICLES then build off that URL structure like: domain.com/articles/kidney-dialysis domain.com/articles/ckd-dialysis Thoughts? Ideas? Thank you!

Best way to present a single image from a gallery?
Hi. I want to make a page for each image on my clients gallery, so that each image page will be indexed and rank. (It's a tattoo portal and theres a lot of traffic on specific tattoos) But as the setup is for now, the only way it will be different from the other image pages, is the H1 title. Can you guys give some examples on "spot on" galleries SEO-wise, i could draw some ideas from?

Does the use of sliders for text-on-page, effects SEO in any way?
The concept of using text sliders in an e-commerce site as a solution to placing SEO text above or in between product and high on ages, seems too good to be true.... or is it? How would a text slider for FAQ or other on-page text done with sliding paragraphs (similar but not this specific code- http://demo.tutorialzine.com/2010/08/dynamic-faq-jquery-yql-google-docs/faq.html) might effect text-on-page SEO. Does Google consider it hidden text? Would there be any other concerns or best practices with this design concept? faq.html

Mobile SEO Tips and Best Practices
Hi, Any advice on approaches for mobile SEO much appreciated. For example, what things do I need to do to optimise a mobile version of a desktop site? E.g. optimise titles, meta description, headings and copy, do I need to submit a mobile sitemap to Google? Do I need to link from the mobile page to the corresponding page on the desktop site and vice versa? Will Googlebot Mobile naturally find the site from the desktop link? What about link building for mobile sites, any thoughts on this, are there specific mobile sites that will link such as directories for a start? Any other tips or resources? Any SEOMoz resources on this? What about the same domain versus the subdomain debate about hosting the mobile site? Any thoughts? Many thanks

Whats the best way to stop search results from being indexed?
