For a parent blog on our website, what should we go for - Subdomain or Subdirectory?

We are a kids website with fun learning content dedicated to kids aged 6-14 yrs, now we want to start a blog page for parents with parenting tips and information useful to parents. For this, should we choose - a subdomain or subdirectory?

It depends on which platform you want to use for your blog. Many use Wordpress and Blogger (mine uses Blogger) and they only allow you to set up as a subdomain. Maybe there are some other CMSs that allow you to set up as Subdirectory but I think Wordpress and Blogger are probably the most popular ones.

I agree with this response. If the content is mostly under your own control (the main content is yours, maybe with some scattering of UGC 'comments' from parents) then go subdirectory
If in the future you create an area where you have way less control over what is posted (like a forum, which is 99% UGC) then go subdomain

I think going for the subdirectory variant is the easiest and best way. There is a lot of research about it online and even arguments between famous SEO specialists about which one to choose. I could go into many details about it, but from my experience, a subdirectory is easier, indexes faster and ranks higher. You can save a lot of time this way.

How would you go about influencer marketing in the b2b space?
Hi Mozzers, I have conducted some b2c micro influencer marketing campaigns in my previous gig by reaching out to blogger and having them promote some content we created. I am now working in a Fintech company (b2b) and would like to get a few ideas on how can I leverage the influencer marketing channel within the Fintech industry. What should I place in the code to connect my html 5 website to Facebook, Google+ etc...?
I know most people use a CMS these days but I created a html 5 website for my small business using Dreamweaver. I'd like to know what, if anything, I should place in the code to link my website with my social media accounts like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest? I've found information about plugins that are useful if you're using a CMS but I'm not. I placed social media buttons on all of the pages of my website already, and when you click on those buttons they go to my social media accounts. Is anyone out there experienced in creating a blog template on Expression Engine?
I have a client that currently has their site on Expression Engine (EE). I have almost no familiarity with that, and am curious to know how user-friendly it is, and what is involved, for example, in creating a template to migrate a blog from WordPress to EE. What are the things I should tell my website developer to keep in mind for on-page SEO wise while outsourcing it?
