Crawler errors or Page Load Time? What affect more to SEO
-
Hello,
I have a page with a forum and at this moment the moz report says that have 15.1k of issues like url too long, meta noindex, title too long etc.
But this page have a load time realy sloooow with 11 seconds.
I know i need fix all that errors (i'm working on this) but...
What is more important for SEO? The page load or that type of error like duplicate titles etc.
Thank you!

In exact agreement over the order here

Great question Daniel!
Without all the information (which errors you were given) this may be a difficult question to answer.
Because Google doesn't openly share which ranking factors have the most impact or "weight" the answer to this question is up for debate depending on the SEO. That being said, in my personal experience the most impactful differences on both rankings and more importantly user experience is performance & On-Page optimizations.
Here is how you might prioritize your SEO improvements:
- Fix any crawling errors first (meta no-index, blocked by robots.txt, etc..)
- Improve the page speed load time
- Fix On-Page SEO Issues (Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, etc...)
- Everything else
My reason for putting it in this order is simply because you want to first make sure search engines can even crawl and index your site. If they can't everything else will be mute.
Next you want to improve speed because if the page truly loads 10+ seconds, then most people will become extremely frustrated and leave. Improving this user experience will not only be better for Google but most importantly your users. Which is the whole reason we have a website after all.
Third I chose On-Page SEO because when you improve your on-page, Google will then be able to clearly see what your page is about and be able to rank it more efficiently. I would suggest focusing on those things in that order first and foremost as it will make the biggest improvements for BOTH your users and rankings.
I hope that helps!
Best,

If a page is Meta no-indexed it is extremely, extremely unlikely that Google would list the page within their search results. If a page takes 11 seconds to load, it is extremely, extremely unlikely that Google would list the page within their search results
I'd approach it like this:
- Fix high priority tech issues first, such as the page being no-indexed
- Fix the page-loading speed issues
- Fix the low priority, more subjective tech issues like a URL being too long, page title length issues etc
In reality until 1 and 2 are fixed there's basically very little chance of the URL ranking or being served. Sometimes you just have to make a decision and get on with it, this is how I'd approach it

Why would DA and Home Page PA divurge
I track home page Page Authority and Domain Authority. Normally they move in a similar fashion. However for at least one client I see them moving in markedly opposite directions. One client has seen their Home page PA increase from 29 to 33 ov er the past year or so while their DA is dropped from 22 to 16. Potentially related are odd trends in home page inbound link counts and linking domains. Moz reported 241 inbound link to the home page last December, and 324 now. For the months April through July, however, Moz reported link counts between 1150 and 1350. Linking domains improved from 120 last December to 324 now. I of course recognize that raw counts of links and linking domains need to be tempered with quality considerations. But still, I'm finding is puzzling and wondering if anyone has any thoughts about why the Page Authority and Domain Authority would be diverging.. B8W2wuB

Angular.js + Crawlers
I am working with a site that recently deployed Angular.js on the site. From an SEO standpoint its a little more tricky than we thought. We have deployed a couple updates to render pages for the bots but we not seeing changes in Moz weekly reports. When it comes to Angular.js, will the Moz bots read/access the site the same as the other major engines? I'm trying to figure out if our deployments are working or if there's something off in the Moz reports. Thanks.

How to resolve Duplicate Content crawl errors for Magento Login Page
I am using the Magento shopping cart, and 99% of my duplicate content errors come from the login page. The URL looks like: http://www.site.com/customer/account/login/referer/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5tbW1zcGVjaW9zYS5jb20vcmV2aWV3L3Byb2R1Y3QvbGlzdC9pZC8xOTYvY2F0ZWdvcnkvNC8jcmV2aWV3LWZvcm0%2C/ Or, the same url but with the long string different from the one above. This link is available at the top of every page in my site, but I have made sure to add "rel=nofollow" as an attribute to the link in every case (it is done easily by modifying the header links template). Is there something else I should be doing? Do I need to try to add canonical to the login page? If so, does anyone know how to do it using XML?

Onsite SEO tools
i have been working on an SEO site and I wanted to add a website checker tool to my home page to help keep users on my site for longer and start interacting. Are there any available scripts for a website tester that I can place onto my home page? This way when a user lands on my website they can check their "score" and then they can read more about how we came up with this number or what they can do to help it etc..

How do you track links over time?
I'm new to SEOmoz and I'm really enjoying the fact that I can track all my keywords in a single place and monitor the changes. Is there a way to do the same with no my links? I mean: I'm using Open Site Explorar to track my links, but I want to know my link building performance overtime. Is there a way to do this automatically with SEOmoz? In case of a negative answer, how do you track your links over time? Thanks in advance!

SEOMoz only crawling 5 pages of my website
Hello, I've added a new website to my SEOmoz campaign tool. It only crawls 5 pages of the site. I know the site has way more pages then this and also has a blog. Google shows at least 1000 results indexed. Am I doing something wrong? Could it be that the site is preventing a proper crawl? Thanks Bill
