Would Renaming or HIding Posts With the Same Title Reduce My Spam Score?

On my blog (which is about writing), I have a recurring monthly feature where we all share excerpts of our work in progress. The title is always the same: "WIP Wednesday – Share What YOU Are Up To!" I've been doing this on the blog for about 4 years.
Is the recurring title giving me a higher spam score? If so, will it help if I add the date on the end, as I've started to do? " WIP Wednesday – Share What YOU Are Up To! January 2020" etc.?
Or would it help if I made all the posts from before 2020 private?
Or does this actually have nothing to do with my spam score (which is 9%, and I'd like to bring it down)? Thanks!

My only counter argument to that would be "What if someone who is a regular wanted to go back and see an old one but couldn't' find it because they are all named the same?"

Thank you! That's really helpful. For this particular feature, it's just a group participation event with no long-term value for traffic. My regulars know they can play along on the first Wednesday of the month, and nobody looks at it afterward.
I don't want it to compete in searches with my finished work for sale, so it wouldn't help me to be more specific!

Spam Score is a representation of sites with similar features that Moz found to be penalized or banned by Google. Moz uses 27 different signals to make up their spam score. Recurring title isn't one of them. Doesn't mean recurring title is good or not. Just means that Moz's Spam Score is a representation of how potentially likely you are of getting banned or penalized by Google based on historical data.

As far as SEO goes I use a different strategy for my recurring content piece. I have a segment on one of our sites that talks about technology in a particular industry. We do it every Thursday. Instead of each post called the same with different dates, we made the category the name of the segment and gave the name of the post an interesting title to get people to read it.
Think about Moz's Whiteboard Friday segment. If they all were named "Whiteboard Friday" you would never know if it was worth looking at. But they use the name Whiteboard Friday as a category and the topic of that particular one is the title of the piece. Hope that makes sense.

Showing more Duplicate Title Tags Than WMT
This is yet another question between moz vs google WebMaster Tools. In WMT it only shows 5 pages with a total of 18 duplicate titles. But moz is showing 298. It appears the duplicates are canonical links for the most part. What is the discrepancy?

Local SEO Title-Tag Optimization
Hi Everyone! A bit of a greenhorn SEO here, and I'm trying to learn a bit more about some of the best practices in local SEO. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with the following scenario: Business: Dental Care & Surgery Location: Springfield IN Name: Springfield Dental Care Experts (example) Website: 18 content pages, pages dedicated to each service Since there are 18 pages to work with, there are plenty of places for us to mix-up the title tags. However, I am still unclear as to what the best way would be to do this. I understand that the Geo-modifiers should go at the front, and that the brand name is considered optional. Would tags such as this make sense? Springfield IN Dentist | Springfield Dental Care Experts Nearby town Mountainview IN Dental Care | Springfield Dental Care Experts Last question: The website has pages for each of the services offered by the dentist, ex: Dental Cleanings, Consultations, Fillings, Surgery, etc. Should each of the pages be included in the title tag? Google Results Title Tag HELP
Can anybody tell us why Google changes your title tag in the SERP? If you check out the below link or type in 'days inn', you will see the 2nd result for www.daysinnrc.co.uk just says 'Days Inn' but on the actual site the title tag for this page is 'Days Inn UK | Days Inn | Daysinnrc.co.uk' http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=days+inn&oq=days+inn&gs_l=hp.3...4110.4110.4.4297.1.1.0.0.0.0.0.0..0.0...0.0...1c.1.kWVC24EnCHE&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=7680231318a44bb0&bpcl=35466521&biw=1920&bih=934 This has happened with another site too, does anybody know why? Tags on blog post
I have just ran a report on SEOMOZ and it's came back saying I have over 1000 pages on my website with duplicate content, I thought wow that's not good, however when I looked at the report it was counting duplicate content because I have used more than one tag on a blog post, for example the blog post: www.example.com/blog-post/ Has the tags example 1 example 2 example 3 Meaning I have these URLs www.example.com/blog/tag/example-1 www.example.com/blog/tag/example-2 www.example.com/blog/tag/example-3 All 3 URLs above have the same content as www.example.com/blog-post/ because of the tags, is this a problem? Thanks

How do you see a list of URLs with duplicate page titles?
When looking at the Duplicate Page Title report, the Other URLs column has various numbers that presumably indicate the number of pages that share the same title. When I click on one of these numbers, say a URL that shows 4 in that column, the next page reports "No sample duplicate URLs to report". Why isn't it showing me the other 3 URLs with the same page title?

Page title = h1, or slight variation of it?
I recently found a new SEO tool http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/search-engine-optimisation/ It is fast, and has found some site tweaks I need to make. There is a free demo version that crawls up to 500 URIs. I recommend you check it out (I'm not affiliated). One of the conditions it checks for is if your page <title>is exactly equal to your <h1> tag. The fact that they flag it makes me wonder if that's something I should avoid (?).</p> <p>When I googled it I found a variety of opinions. When I looked at Rand's excellent piece on the perfectly optimized page http://www.seomoz.org/blog/perfecting-keyword-targeting-on-page-optimization I notice that the example Page Title and H1 are slightly different. By design, or a happy coincidence?</p> <p>Any opinions on whether I should make my Page Titles slightly different than my H1 tags to avoid the appearance of over optimization, or some other penalty?</p></title>
