Seo and ssl error (Error code: sec_error_revoked_certificate)
-
Hi.
An error occurred during a connection to esta-register.org.
Peer's Certificate has been revoked.
(Error code: sec_error_revoked_certificate)
** i want to know this error can be effected on seo or not?**
-
so the answer is definitely "the certificate needs to be fixed as soon as possible because every day it is not, nobody can get to the site. That will then cause the SEO to fall apart. The longer it's down, the longer it will take for search engines to reset once they devalue the site."

Yes, the secure version is required and I redirected public version by 301 redirect to https.
-
Yes this can definitely affect SEO. When I go to the site, without using https, it automatically redirects to the https version, and that gives me the error.
So the question is - does the version of the site the public sees have to be in https (secure) status ? If not, I would suggest having that removed as soon as possible. Have the public version work without it and set up a 301 redirect.
If the secure version is required, I would contact the site systems administrator as soon as possible to get it resolved.

Subdomain 403 error
Hi Everyone, A crawler from our SEO tool detects a 403 error from a link from our main domain to a a couple of subdomains. However, these subdomains are perfect accessibly. What could be the problem? Is this error caused by the server, the crawlbot or something else? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Badges & SEO
Hello, Moz Community! We're working on creating an affiliate badge for events that make our best-of list and we're wondering: if every event website embedded the badge (could be as many as 70), would having the same image hosting URL for each one raise concerns with Google? Thanks!

404 Error
Hello, Seomoz flagged a url as having a 404 client error. The reason the link doesn't return a proper content page is because the url name was changed. What should we do? Will this error disappear when Google indexes our site again? Or is there some way to manually eliminate it? Thanks!

Where to get expert SEO help?
I joined SEOmoz knowing very little about SEO (it turns out even less than I thought!) I signed up because my business website that had be ranking very well for years made a fast and furious fall to the purgatory of page 2, 3, whatever. We'll I've definitely learned a lot and made a several changes that have helped. Specifically link building (directory submissions) and eliminating duplicate content. But we're still far below where we used to be and I've done everything I can do without making a career change to SEO. I've hired a few offshore SEOs to help but they have all failed to live up to their promises. So, I would love to find a GOOD SEO that can 1. Fix the remaining on-page technical issues in our CMS website (Business Catalyst), and 2. help us develop an SEO strategy for the next year. (I prefer not to post the name of the website for competitive reasons) Our keywords are really not very competitive at all due to the uniqueness of the business. Where should I look for help? Thanks

404 Error on Spider Emulators
I recently began working at a company called Uncommon Goods. I ran a few different spider emulators on our homepage (uncommongoods.com) and I saw a 404 Error on SEO-browser.com as well as URL errors on Summit Media's emulator and SEOMoz's crawler. It seems there is a serious problem here. How is this affecting our site from an SEO standpoint? What are the repercussions? Also, I know we have a lot of javascript on our homepage..is this causing the 404? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! -Zack
