@jocameron You mean the maximum spam score is 100%? Can you show me any website that is above 50%? My website (All IT Limited) has a spam score of 4% which already I am scared of.
My website got some backlinks I never created but automatically received. Those are the reasons for this 4% spam score. Is this fine for 20 domains with 22 backlinks?

In the world of SEO, a spam score is a metric that indicates the level of trustworthiness and quality of a website. Search engines like Google utilize algorithms to evaluate websites, and one of the factors they consider is the spam score. Websites are assigned a score based on various factors, such as the quality of backlinks, content, and overall website health.
The Impact of a High Spam Score
A high spam score can have detrimental effects on your website. It can lead to lower search engine rankings, decreased organic traffic, and a tarnished online reputation. Moreover, it can deter potential visitors and customers from engaging with your site. Hence, it is essential to take proactive measures to reduce your website's spam score.Assessing Your Website's Spam Score
The first step in the process is to assess your website's current spam score. Various online tools can help you determine this score, such as Moz's Spam Score tool. Once you have this information, you can begin working towards lowering your score.Identifying and Removing Toxic Backlinks
One of the primary contributors to a high spam score is toxic backlinks. These are links coming from low-quality or suspicious websites. To reduce your spam score, identify and remove these toxic backlinks. You can use tools like Google Search Console or third-party tools like Ahrefs to identify and disavow these harmful links.High-Quality Content is Key
Creating and maintaining high-quality content is a fundamental aspect of reducing your website's spam score. Ensure that your content is relevant, informative, and free from plagiarism. Search engines reward websites that consistently produce valuable content.Utilizing Proper On-Page SEO Techniques
Proper on-page SEO techniques play a crucial role in reducing your spam score. This includes optimizing meta tags, image alt attributes, and ensuring that your content is well-structured with appropriate headings and keywords.Strengthen Your Social Media Presence
Social signals are essential in building credibility and reducing spam scores. An active and engaged social media presence can positively influence your website's trustworthiness.Consistent Content Updates
Regularly updating your website with fresh, relevant content is another way to demonstrate its legitimacy. Search engines prefer websites that are regularly maintained. -

Sharing some information about how to reduce your spam score.
However, Keep in mind. Spam score is not a Google ranking factor.
Search engines such as Google basically just ignore bad links and dont count them.
-
@Gkpmart It's not a concern. Spam score is misunderstood and most don't know why or how it's used or what its actually indicating.
Just ignore it and keep building good links and creating good content.

@maryjohnomni Forgot about the SPAM score. You don't need this type of metric for what you are actually doing.
Just focus on building good links and crating good content.

@Alonsofrederick No reason to worry. Spam score is not connected to SERP in anyway. It's not an issue.

You can simply disavow the spammy links. I have done same for my website https://electronicsguruji.com . Hopefully, it will resolve the issue.

Simplify the process by disavowing all the unfavorable backlinks to your site. After a few months, you'll likely see a decrease in your spam score. It's important to note that Spam Score and Domain Authority (DA) don't directly impact your site's ranking or standing in Google. They primarily serve as metrics used by Moz to assess website development and quality.

9. Monitor for Negative SEO
Be vigilant about potential negative SEO attacks, where competitors may try to harm your site's reputation by creating spammy backlinks. Regularly check your backlink profile for unusual patterns.

Creating a subdomain or subdirectory for each major city for our main website...
If our website is abc.com I am wanting to create a subdomain or subdirectory for each major city for SEO targeting purposes. But I want each domain to go to our see the same content from the main website abc.com. What's the best way to accomplish this? Duplicating our main page over and over sounds terrible , especially when trying to make changes down the road. Should we create an alias for each location? example.. abc.com/new-york, abc.com-chicago, etc...? If we go that route how does google acknowledge that? Would that mess up our SEO or help? Thanks!

What is the importance of root domains linking to your website in Google's rankings? I notice our competition has a much higher number on keywords I'm analyzing. Thank you!
I've noticed our competition has a much higher number of "root domains" linking to their page than we do. Is this simply a result of more websites linking to them? How long does it normally take to build up these numbers/rankings? (I'm assuming it's a concerted effort, which I'll be researching.) Thank you!
