How to add website to Dmoz?

what I would suggest you do is Google the average time someone gets a response from dmoz
unfortunately I believe you'll find a lot of people waiting years not just 2 weeks. They are all essentially volunteers and there aren't enough of them to keep up with the work. I would not worry about that directory it had its day and it's a directory after all. You can get much better links using different tactics found here in SEOmoz than you ever will by registering your site with dmoz
I'm in agreement with you to leave it there and see if it works. I hope it does definitely do the Google search. But if it tells you something that doesn't agree with or I'm saying please let me know because I would be shocked.

The Open Directory Project (ODP), also known as DMOZ (from directory.mozilla.org, its original domain name) is and severely understaffed I've heard of people waiting 2 years to get there site listed. I would not bother to be completely honest with you and listen to something very important to you. However I do know it will not have a big effect on your rankings whatsoever all they can really do is change your description of your website which Google still honors for some reason. I honestly would put my time in 2 doing something other than trying to get in that particular directory with the site that is more productive than playing with Dmoz I've literally known people that have gotten jobs there to try to get their site listed and that did new work. More than one link on an external website
Just wanted to clarify my understanding of this... I'm of the understanding that if an external site has more than one link going to your site, then it is only the one link that passes value. If this is the case.... Which is the link that passes value (i.e the first link established or the link that, all factors being considered, is the most valuable for passing authority?) If a second link established on an external website comes from and goes to a different webpage than the first (and is done for the purposes of targeting and boosting a different keyword category/theme), is this then a beneficial practice? If multiple links on an external website all serve to generate solid referral traffic, will this boost rankings, and thereby be a sound practice? Thanks in advance for your help in clarifying this for me!

1000 of links on my website ? is it good or bad
Hi guys my site: www.dorchdanola-netbutik.dk is a e-commerce store, and generally we have many links on all pages because of the many products and categories. Im not sure if this is actually bad or good? I've been told that it will definately harm my site when google crawls it. The thing is that google visit my site often and I still have good pageranks in google. So does it actually harm my site having all these products and categories? And what can I do about it if google see every page as duplicate content? I also link to my social pages like FB, G+, e.g. Should I put rel="nofollow" or rel="me" on these social links? Thanks guys!

Asking other websites to link your website when the want to be in your directory
Hello, We have 3 web directories, and I wonder if it is legal for search engines to ask people who want to be in the directory to link to a particular website in order to be in our directory. I mean, it is free adding the url in the directory but if they lwant to be in the directory they have to ink to a website we have decided.
