DA and NoFollow
-
Hello! Are NoFollow backlinks given any consideration when calculating DA? Cheers!
-
No-Follow backlinks don’t directly impact Domain Authority (DA) as they don’t pass link equity, but they can still benefit SEO by driving traffic and increasing brand visibility. They contribute to a DG Paystub diverse backlink profile, which can indirectly improve DA through enhanced site metrics. For ranking an Android app website, focus on quality content, keyword optimization, and gaining Do-Follow links for better results.

No-Follow backlinks do not directly impact Domain Authority (DA) as they don't pass link equity. However, they can still contribute to overall SEO by driving traffic, increasing brand visibility, and diversifying your backlink profile, which can indirectly influence DA through improved site metrics and organic reach. As I myself experience to increase the DA of my website by creating a mixture of Do-follow and no-follow backlinks.

In my Point of View No-Follow Back-links are Not Potential for Increasing DA, What do You think?

No, NoFollow backlinks do not directly affect a website's Domain Authority (DA). Domain Authority is based on factors like the quality and relevance of linking domains, but NoFollow links are not included in its calculations.
I have no "do follow or no follow" link to my website Inshot Android Application, what should I do to get high rank? -

I have a question "My website is about an Android Application. It has been published for 2 months now. How should I do SEO to rank my site on SERP, and how much time does it usually take to appear on SERP".

@Buzz-s said in DA and NoFollow:
Are NoFollow backlinks given any consideration when calculating DA?
As a Freelance Digital Marketer in Kochi, I believe NoFollow backlinks are typically not given direct consideration when calculating Domain Authority (DA). DA is a metric developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). It's based on a variety of factors, including the quality and quantity of backlinks, website age, content quality, and more.
NoFollow backlinks are hyperlinks that instruct search engines not to pass authority or PageRank to the linked page. While NoFollow links may not directly contribute to improving a website's DA, they can still have indirect benefits

No, NoFollow backlinks are not considered when calculating Domain Authority (DA).

When Google is checking the quality of a businesses backlinks,, its always good to have a mixture of do-follow and also no-follow links, sure its the do-follow that sends the link equity, yet you still need no follow as well, as these links, can still bring shoppers to your website.
we have a lot of no follow links to our summerhouse construction company, yet we get a lot of sales, from our hundreds of no-follow backlinks.

No, NoFollow backlinks are not directly considered in Domain Authority calculations. DA primarily assesses the quality and quantity of followed (DoFollow) backlinks. However, NoFollow links can still contribute to your overall SEO strategy by diversifying your link profile and potentially driving traffic. Cheers!

@Buzz-s NoFollow backlinks are generally not considered when calculating Domain Authority (DA). DA, a metric developed by Moz, primarily assesses the strength and quality of a website's backlink profile. While NoFollow links do not pass link equity directly, they are often viewed as a part of a natural and diverse link profile. However, in the calculation of DA, the focus is predominantly on Follow links, which directly influence a site's ability to rank in search engines.
Keep in mind that NoFollow links still hold value for traffic generation and can indirectly contribute to your site's authority by driving user engagement and potentially leading to more Follow links.
Cheers!

Footer backlink for/to Web Design Agency
I read some old (10+ years) information on whether footer backlinks from the websites that design agencies build are seen as spammy and potentially cause a negative effect. We have over 150 websites that we have built over the last few years, all with sitewide footer backlinks back to our homepage (designed and managed by COMPANY NAME). Semrush flags some of the links as potential spammy links. What are the current thoughts on this type of footer backlink? Are we better to have 1 dofollow backlink and the rest of the website nofollow from each domain?

My DA hasn't changed in over a year
My DA has been stuck at 32 for over a year, despite me producing lots of new, relevant content for my site and getting many high-quality backlinks from decent websites. Both my keywords and link profile have grown... but DA has not. I know these things take time, but I've watched competitors climb from low DA to now higher than me in a year, and I have no clue why I haven't grown too. I'm not entirely sure what to do next. Moz says I don't have any crawler issues, so I assume it's seeing my site ok. Any advice, clues, ideas very welcome. Thanks

What are he benefits of getting 200+ links from DA 40+ non-relevant websites?
I have a client who has an opportunity to sponsor a prestigious national organisation. In return, they will get 200+ links from the websites of the organisation's members. Most of which are DA 40+.None of the linking sites have any relevance to my client's industry.1) How likely do you think it is that Google will view these as paid links?2) Do you feel that there is potential harm in gaining this many non-relevant links in a short time-frame?3) The client wants me to quantify the ranking benefits of gaining these links and calculate a potential ROI. If that's even possible, how would you go about that? Thanks in advance

NoFollow links to increase TLD?
If you have a good amount of links, but your TLD is low, and you got say 100 more links from 100 seperate domains, but most were NoFollow, would that still help alot since you are increasing your overall TLD? I guess what I am asking is, should we not ignore nofollow links because they still can increase TLD? Thus, making our good dofollow links worth even more?
